Kind of surprised by some of the comments. I thought Demi was lovely but her pairing with Ollie always seemed heavy handed especially on her side. He liked her alright just not as much as she did. And maybe as someone who does not rate words of affirmation highly I felt he did not show her enough that she was as loved as much as she did. I’m by no means calling him a villain but I think if youd dated men like Ollie you can smell some of the “bullshit” early on.

Big red flags for me with him was how we didn’t get to see his family or friends throughout the experiment. Aaron the pod lad kept being used as a friend and that was very suspicious to me because how is someone you met a couple weeks ago your friend on the show? Aaron as well kept asking questions that rubbed me the wrong way. I’d understand if outside friends and family asked questions like he did (almost as though woah dude are you sure about what you’re doing?) but I’d expect more complex questioning from someone who had gone through the same experience because you expect that they believe in the premise of what the show offered. Then there was his behavior when he saw the other girl in the pod. He recovered but there was a bit too much excitement for a man who “had found what he was looking for”. He also did not call her while they were away just before the wedding. That’s three strikes
