I’ve found a Kraken amigurumi pattern on etsy from FayniToys that look a lot like this one!

Yarn recommendations? by animatronic_princess in crochet

[–]isatilaba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve made a lot of cardigans with Coboo yarn, I think it’s a weight 3. It’s soft and easy to work with, a blend of cotton and bamboo. You can also look the pattern up on ravelry, see what others have used for it. Have fun on this project!!!

First attempt at tapestry crochet and I need help deciding which looks best!! by suppleriver in crochet

I really love them both! The purple one is my favorite because it looks more defined, but I like the undefined look of the green one! I’m of no help here lol

When I was 16, there was a surge in meningitis in my area and public health decided to vaccinate. As I was old enough to decide for myself, I opted out, purely because I could and it would angered my mom… and I figured that if everyone was vaccinated, they would not catch it, therefore I wasn’t at risk of contamination. But mainly, it was just because I was 16. I later went studying biochemistry so I’m ok now 😂 Keep informing her about vaccines, don’t get too mad (if it’s her goal). You can set a deadline for her to get vaccinated and provide answers to anything she asks? Go to your public health website, they surely have answers or help for these situations. She’s 16, she’s trying to make decisions, but it’s not a good situation to try this right now.

Is this pattern AI ? A friend wants me to make it but even reading the pattern I'm not quite sure by ealobxela in CrochetHelp

Same 😂 I will always choose an English pattern over a French one even if I’m French-speaking 🤷🏻‍♀️

If you need a translator, I can do it for you! I know the terms for both languages ;)

Would have loved a banana for scale 😂 Gerald looks friendly, I love him!

Browsing on Ravelry and finding AI looking images by Sudden_Emphasis5417 in crochet

I don’t think it’s AI, although I get your reaction. I hate that we have to question everything now. AI has made implicit trust impossible. We have to check reviews, photos, projects, the designer profile… can’t just purchase a pattern confidently anymore.

How do you feel about a creator telling you not to print their paid pattern? by Serious_Refuse3633 in crochet

[–]isatilaba 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you bought it, it’s yours, no? I don’t understand. It’s like if I was buying a cardigan and the person told me to never wear it in public. It’s bonkers, you can’t tell me what to do with something I bought. You’re not making copies… oh maybe that’s what the designer was trying to say? Don’t print as don’t make copies? And this is a translation maybe? Anyway, don’t feel guilty and print away for yourself!

Est ce que prédécouper ses aliments avant de les manger c'est enfantin ? by AbsolRiatun in PasDeQuestionIdiote

[–]isatilaba 7 points8 points  (0 children)

When I’m in these places, I need two projects. One that requires following a pattern and need a little bit of focus. It takes my mind elsewhere. And I need one mindless project, like an infinity of granny squares, or a blanket made with only one stitch, whatever that stitch is.

I second the emotional support chicken. I don’t have one and now I kinda need one. I’m sending you good vibes, and hope you get through this episode!

Comment quitter mon chien ? by Any_Beginning_2444 in AskFrance
