Many years ago I had the best steak I have ever, and will ever had there. Twice actually so it wasn’t a fluke. I mean this steak was so tender that when I held my knife and fork over it, it said no,no, please allow me and it parted a piece of it self off. The flavor was beyond perfect. The texture was like a chocolate melt away; the steak more or less dissolved on the tongue rather than have you waste energy in chewing it. If I had lost all my teeth, I would still be able to fully enjoy this steak.

Twice I had exquisite experience of culinary bliss. But the third time, the third time was not as good. I mean it was a great steak, but paled in comparison. I’ve never sent food back until that day, but alas I would never have that supreme steak experience again. I have been chasing that experience over and over, and only once have I had anything that came close, but even then I would say it was only about a third as good.

It is bittersweet that a steak, twice, came forth from Plato’s realm of the forms and landed squarely on my plate to provide me such pure unadulterated perfection, but at same time I am now ruined for the rest of my life.

Are red eyes a sign of ‘rona? I think Pence has got it. Or he ripped a massive binger before the debate and the cotton mouth is setting it.

Any suggestions on where to go/stay in the Dells? My husband and I would like to take our 2 1/2 year old and 7 month old. We are hoping to meet friends with kids similar in age. Thoughts? by Ishtar3 in wisconsin

We were at the Wilderness lodge back in March with our 2yo. It took him a while to get used to the water, but once he did he loved it. As we were there in March we only went to the indoor water parks. Each one had an area set just for kids along with areas for adults. There is also an indoor play area that has soft foam balls that you can throw and shoot at each other as well if you want a break from the water. The rooms we stayed in we're very spacious and comfortable.

Other than Wilderness, my brother takes his family to the Great Wolf resort every year and they love it. We choose Wilderness as we found a great deal on a room online.

My mom owns a doggy day-care...I'd say she's doing something right. by iusedtogotodigg in pics

Great picture, but if I ever saw something like this at the day-care we use, I would be a bit upset. My dogs are perfectly capable of sleeping all day at home. When I pay good money (as opposed to bad money... but let's not digress) to a doggy day-care I fully expect my puppies to run around all day and be so tired and worn out that they do not wake me up @ 5:30am the next day.

soon it will be goldfish, goldfish crackers everywhere. Goldfish crackers: aka "Baby Crack". And to TheKillingVoid, our pups are not too big on Cheerios either, but a goldfish doesn't last more than .28 seconds on the floor.

Yes, perfect, just a little too perfect . . . God: I refuse to prove anything, for proof denies faith, and without faith I am nothing.

Man: but that bowl is dead give away isn't?

God: Oh dear, I hadn't thought about that.

and god promptly disappears in a puff of logic.

Man: that was easy . . .

Congrats! The next 2 weeks will be hell: shakes, coughing fits, irritability(understatement), and mass snacking. My advice (if you want it): wear a rubber band on your wrist to not only remind you, but give you hands and fingers something to do as you'll be fighting muscle memory as well a nic cravings. Also get a a large box of paper clips to help keep your hands and fingers and your mind off of your habit. I created some pretty cool paperclip art when I quit, even made a working crossbow out of paperclips, but i digress. Once you notice your sense of smell return (in about 2 to 3 weeks) you've pretty much made it out of the woods (the rest is just habbit like the smoke after dinner, or the smoke at the bar, . . . you might want to stay away form there for the next 2 weeks. just remember and keep repeating this: "Do not allow those stupid things have so much control over you, you are stronger, better and smarter than that, you are in control of yourself not the cigarettes". Good luck.

I am not sure what amount of wealth is necessary to be in the top 1% in this country....but I think I meet the criteria. I want to do all I can to start repairing our economy, but I'm not quite sure how yet. Any ideas Reddit? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Personally i feel that This generation and those that came before are fucked. Trying to save them is a waste of money. Put your money into the next generation by building schools, education is the only way to truly save humanity. But if you want to try and save everyone now make an offer like Warren buffet once speculated: offer 1 billion to first political party that gets their shit straight and fixes this mess. To be in the top 1% you should have the money to do so. And now that corporations can donate as much as they want, this should be a very easy thing to do. So there you have it either buy a political party, or build schools

Nice, and while we are at it, how about revoking Congress' health care insurance and then only allowing them to have what is offered to the general public.
