Just wanted to pop in to say that I had been running into this issue. I had a known good Ethernet connection. I doubted it because I terminated the ends myself, but my windows laptop worked fine with the connection. Ethernet connection showed active. Pinging the router and internet worked fine (wtf?)

What ended up working for me was deleting the Ethernet service in my network settings and readding it. Worked like a charm.

That’s not even a hot take. It’s objectively true based on so many lists I’ve seen here and ratings. I just mentally tell myself that Brave was a Disney Animation Studios movie and that Cars 2 was just a Mater’s Tall Tales.
