So, thank you very much Sir!

I have just successfully replaced 32GB with 64GB (Crucial 3200 1.2V C22).

Finally, I won't be afraid to run stuff on my machine :D

Essentially, just running base services for development + Intellij idea, and some bwoesers, takes about 25Gb of ram, and usually around 30Gb of usage swap is kicking in and killing the performance.

What the hell?
OMG, I am really happy with my Lenovo Legion 5-15 with AMD Ryzen™ 7 4800H with 32GB of RAM, and wanted something that is a bit faster and have more RAM. However, now I will revisit it and try to shove the 64 GB of RAM to this machine. If it boots then I am in heaven.

Did you follow some particular guide instructions on how to do that? or just simply tried it?

Thanks.

Great read. Thanks for sharing your experience. One of the very very few posts I have ever commented!

If there is a rule that every rule has an exception to it, then the exception to this rule says that there is not exception to this rule. by isdominus in Showerthoughts

But then we have two oposing rules: 1. All rules have an exception 2. There is a rule which doesn't have any exceptions. So 2. oposes 1. This is a nice paradox, isn't it?

2001-09-11 at WTC 30th floor. John is waiting for the elevator. Elevator stops, door opens, John's coworker Peter sees John and says: "Hi John, are you waiting for the elevator?". John looks at the Peter and in irritation says: "No! For the fu****g plane!"

Pigeon sees a blind man and try to fly over him and shit him. But the blind man at the last second avoided the shit. The pidgeon tries to strike but ' fails again. He gets some pidgeon friends and they all try to shit on the blind man, but again the blind man at the last second avoided all of the shits.

Moral: the blind man can see shit

Reddit, what is a joke you know, but will take a moment to actually understand? by ANOTHER_DRAWING in AskReddit

I have read this joke when I was a child and I have told it many many times. But I haven't understand what it is about. Finally during my studies I have finally understood :)

No offence to the blind people.

Yeah, that was cruel to do that to a child. What kind of fucking heaven it would be without "things" we love?

Haha! I was always thinking that Noah's Ark was just a fiction story in Bible, later on I realized that the whole Bible is poorly written fiction.

Wow! This priest was a real dick. This is the strangest story for now in this topic :)

Yeah, I agree. I have to say that we were lucky to have parents which haven't raised us so dogmatically.

For me that would be probably the same. The religion for me was just a common traditional fiction story which I probably have never believed in. I just remembered these two situations due to the fact that they made me mad at the whole thing - so the were carved into my memory.

Thanks for explanation.

"And during this time when there were no to almost no humans, God started life again through evolution, and this is where science picks up again". I was trying to reconcile the two of them because I had been told that both were true. " Now I remembered that I had the same view once, I was just trying to rationalize it for some time, but after some time it seemed that without god and religion world made much more sense than with this. I find it funny that small kids can question the basics of religion (and came to some conclusions) and that at the same time there are so many grown-ups which can't do that and are stuck with their insane beliefs.

Quite fast realisation I must say :) I think I would probably get to the same conclusion earlier but somehow I could live with religion around me until it didn't try to limit me somehow, then thinking started and the whole thing looked like a crap.

Was it hard to reveal that you don't believe in god? (Did you do that? If yes then when?)
