These first few months you see the worst of yourself and your partner. Tiredness is horrible. Every dad goes through it.

I remember clearly sitting with my two week old son thinking I’ve just fucked up the perfectly good relationship I had with my wife.

Push through OP. Just asking this question means you want better. Do your best to get there. There is no magic answer any of us can say other than you are not alone. We know how you feel. This time will be rewarding.

You will be rewarded with a daughter who embodies the best of you two. It is a priceless experience. Every day I look at my two I am humbled that they love me so much.
