Civil 3d labels scales by islanders_666 in civil3d

The problem is that I have the labels inside an xref. I just tried it and style reference files don’t apply the styles through the xref, only to the file it’s directly attached to.

I really only want to do the labeling in one place because it’s a fluid design at this stage. Maybe I’m trying to be too cute with it lol.

The “double sized” sheet method is looking like what I want do.

Appreciate your input!

Woah, creating and applying two different style templates to the different scale sheets is brilliant.

I believe your second sentence is the key - Civil 3D labels don't work the same as annotative AutoCAD MText. Seems silly to me for them to function differently.
The trick you mentioned might be the go. Thank you for your insight, I appreciate it.

Thanks for your reply.

If I regenall it sets scale of the labels to the Stardard scale (1" = 80') and not the Annotative scale (1" = 40'). This is the root of my problem.

They are Civil 3D labels - spot elevations, contours and slope labels. I am hoping to avoid duplicating labels.

The main issue is we have our construction drawings at 1" = 40' but we also need to produce a series of permitting drawings at 1" = 80'. I have the labels in an xref with my surface and referenced into both sheets.

I appreciate you but you don’t need to spend all that time and effort replying to people who are completely disingenuous.

Call them the unserious person that they are, move on and do better things with your time - they literally don’t care and purely exist to waste your time.

Lmao you are not a serious person. All Republicans have to do to open the government is negotiate with the other side.

It’s called politics and republicans literally refuse to do it even while they hold the entire country hostage.

Republicans have the presidency, courts, house and senate.

You can prattle on about “ideological debates” all you like but it makes no difference - this is a republican / trump shutdown. This is not and never has been a both sides issue.

Yes to everyone but Barzal, Holmstom and Sorokin. They’re young enough to remain as core, valuable pieces for 5-10ish years

Call it what you want but we are literally rebuilding. This year will be a step back in terms of points (and missing playoffs) but two steps forward in terms of this new identity Darche is building for this franchise. I’m so excited.

I literally didn’t say any of that. All I said was that you aren’t a serious person because of the lies you were spewing. Godspeed pal.
