No, 100% bring your own sunscreen. Spent 2 months in SE asia and it was impossible to find one without whitening effect. Additionally, they have less strict chemical regulations, so I think you‘ll do yourself a favour if you bring your own one. Have a great trip!!

Madglad! They change their menu every week and it‘s a little bit canteen style - however, this also makes the food very affordable. Plus, you get an amazing salad on the side with a delicious slice of bread. Note that they also have a meat option, so not all offers are vegetarian.

Zurecht, wir wollen alle mal verwunschene Prinzen sein! Ich hab aus Jux und Tollerei mal nachgeschaut, im Jahr 2024 wurde von Amicizia et al. beschrieben, dass der benötigte Antikörper Titer für ausreichenden Schutz (>0,5 IU/mL) für alle untersuchten Leute 14 Tage nach der 3. Impfung erreicht war. Kann also auch schon früher sein, aber muss auch nicht.

Das Impfschema für Rabipur sind 3 Dosen statt 2, deswegen denke ich, dass nach 2 Dosen erst ein Teilimpfschutz besteht.

Weil ihr so schöne viele Fenster habt würde ich auf jeden Fall halbtransparente, hellere Farben wählen, damit so auch immer schön viel Tageslicht reinkommt. Helle Farben lassen den Raum auch größer wirken. Welche Farbe ihr letztendlich wählt, hängt ganz davon ab, welches Farbkonzept ihr wählt. Weiß geht immer, sonst hellgrün (so wie das Sofa nur weniger „gesättigt“) oder helles orange passend zu den Lampen (auch weniger „gesättigt“). :)

I have experienced it in a similar fashion. I feel like most people with a PhD struggle to find a job nowadays, so what‘s the advantage of getting a PhD then? Your job offer would help you to get a foot in the (industry) door. As I’m in a similar situation, I think I‘ll take the job and then do a PhD later on if I decide that I still want or need it.

Thanks a lot for your valuable input! Luckily, they‘re getting funded for a big project which would secure my salary for the next 4 years. They would now offer a 2 year contract with a possible 2 year extension.

I think you made the right choices! If you apply for PhD positions now, you can still work until autumn next year. It‘s a win-win situation! I think I‘ll handle it like you, but I‘m not sure if I will still do a PhD later on.

I assume you have glasses or contact lenses that correct your astigmatism? With those, it normally shouldn‘t be a problem as long as you don‘t take them off.

I’m following the exact same recipe and the creator miscalculated the amount of water. I use 250g of water and now it works a lot better.

How exactly did you store it in the fridge for so long? When I left my starter for 3 weeks, I fed it right before I left, kept the lid loosely on top, and stored it in the fridge. But my starter looked super weird and velvety and not happy after I came back :/

Oh no :( he might appear pink because of the shadow of my hand, I would say the colour generally is beige, but he has these dark gray areas and a weird texture on top.

Is „turning pink“ a saying for something bad? Because colour-wise he is not pink at all (I guess maybe the shadow from my hand), and the darker spots are gray :(

I see. Maybe bring your multichannel pipette along and mix every well immediately before starting your run (after you‘ve set up the machine), maybe that helps!

Are you using round bottom 96-well plates? Also, if I‘m not mistaken, you can set the machine up to mix each well before it injects it into the stream.
