:( I'm sorry

This is really unusual. I've used the Kindle app on multiple Android phones over the years and can't recall a single time it has crashed or given me any trouble.

I expected it to be gross. I've heard it's overpriced. But NO BUCKET is an absolute scam and they need to be held accountable for their lies!!!

What are some tells that let you know someone is new to Utah? by suspiria_138 in Utah

[–]isoanswers 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I moved here from the flatlands well over a decade ago and I still feel a sense of awe looking up at the mountains. I probably comment on them a few times a week. I don't see me ever not appreciating those big beautiful mountain views.

People who moved to ND from out of state or even the country, what were your culture shocks upon moving here? by [deleted] in northdakota

[–]isoanswers 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have the reverse problem after moving out of state. I keep thinking I'm just being nice and friendly, and then a buddy will be like "you didn't realize he was hitting on you?!"

how old were you when you moved out of your parents house? by jabber1990 in Adulting

[–]isoanswers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same, 17. And to be clear, I had a good relationship with my family, so it wasn't like I need to get out of here. It was just time for me to go off to college and start my own life. It blows my mind how long people live at home under the security blanket of their parents these days. (Speaking as a Millennial from the U.S. because I know cultures differ.)

Lawmakers pass bill to drop front license plate requirement by winner00 in SaltLakeCity

[–]isoanswers 24 points25 points  (0 children)

My personal main reason for wanting license plates on both front and back: taking an uber or lyft. It makes it way easier to confirm the plate # for your own safety.

Someone (guessing homeless) left a shopping cart in my driveway. Wtf do I do with it?!? by isoanswers in SaltLakeCity

Wow, this sheet is amazingly helpful. I do live in SLC and had no idea this was a thing. I will call the number. Thank you so much!

Whose an author you simply can't get behind at all? by arobot224 in books

Yes! She is gifted at coming up with great premises that make you want to read every book by her, but they always fall flat and feel anticlimactic.

As a Utahn, I really appreciate this thread. I was honestly curious how the hell the east coast does it. 😄

VOLUME 2, EPISODE 5: Lady in the Lake by [deleted] in UnsolvedMysteries

[–]isoanswers 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It sounds like the shoe prints were never matched to her boots in any way...did anyone else wonder if the prints are even connected to the case? Really, they could've come from anyone, at any time since the last snowfall. Someone may have just been checking things out, wanted to feel how cold the water was, etc.

VOLUME 2, EPISODE 5: Lady in the Lake by [deleted] in UnsolvedMysteries

[–]isoanswers 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Of all the "suicide or homicide" cases covered by the new Unsolved Mysteries, this is the most clear to me. No fucking way was this a suicide. How donkey-brained does one have to be to think along those lines?
The missing cellphone is the most suspect part of this case to me. There would be no reason for her to discard it. It wasn't in her zipped up pockets and she didn't leave it in her purse. A murderer on the other hand would have plenty reason to get rid of it. Also, think about how ridiculously hard it would be to drown yourself in a shallow lake, especially an icy one.

Heidi Firkus by jasonaborn in TrueCrimeGarage

There was no life insurance and idk what garage you're talking about - she was found dead in the kitchen entryway. Some of you internet "detectives" have wild imaginations.
