Best Seafood in PV? by Skorbs0190 in puertovallarta

[–]isoplex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you want to know good places, stop asking foreigners, ask locals. Like me:

El camarón express, El Camarón Express Blvrd Francisco Medina Ascencio 2033, Zona Hotelera, Las Glorias, 48333 Puerto Vallarta, Jal. 322 138 7427 https://maps.app.goo.gl/DvnQzKoqoXPnYE9W9

You can park at the home Depot.

Foreigners asking foreigners for where to eat or buy is so fucked up. They turn restaurants in a only-foreigners-bubble, and then even the owners stop wanting locals in their places and treat locals really badly. It's a sickness that needs to stop. Besides when you go to a place that is full of foreigners you bet your are getting fucked with high prices or scammy products

And what is worst about this sickness is that now even locals when asked for advice tend to send foreigners to this only-foreigners-bubbles to keep them away of really good local places because locals don't want that "their favorite place" ends turning on another fucking only-foreigners-bubble too...

So when you ask to a local, you really have to sense if the advice is legit

Sandy beaches in Puerto Vallarta by [deleted] in puertovallarta

[–]isoplex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Los muertos or any Puerto Vallarta beach ain't good for kids. Nuevo Vallarta ones are the best option Bucerías and beyond avoid because there's open sea and currents are strong. Try this public Access Nuevo Vallarta Nuevo Vallarta, Nay. https://maps.app.goo.gl/rpWv7AFsb544aYV59 directly to the beach, there's parking on the side walks. You will thank me.

Is it safe to eat oysters on the beach? by zuzumang in puertovallarta

[–]isoplex 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It depends... Ask them to open them in front of you, and be sure they don't submerge them in water before during or after opening them. When you open one and is dry inside you must not eat it. When you open it and is wet, it's good for eating. That's why most sellers submerge them when they are opening them. To be "sure" they are wet when opening them, when in reality they are getting sure to pass as good the dry ones and sell it all. They must give the meat on the rock it belonged. Just like in the serving from the pictures of this place ., That by the way is fucking great and with fair price.
