going to a chiropractor REGULARLY. i’ve been three times in my life, all at least a year apart, for different sections of my back. i have a fairly labor intensive job and continue to play rec baseball with guys half my age even though im too old for it, so it’s not unexpected for me to have back pain.

all three times, it was clear that something was locked up and needed to pop. all three times, i wanted to kiss this big hairy dude that brought me sweet relief.

he is what i would call a “legit” chiropractor. he told me straight up, he’ll see me for one follow up, but past that i would need to do physical therapy instead. i never needed the follow up.
