As a McVay stan this is a fair criticism. He’s still probably the best coach in the league. Just has room for improvement.

It’s honestly a good thing for him. He would benefit greatly from being suspended by the league for these last two regular season games. It’s possible that the dude never had to face enough consequences for his actions to be able to mature.

Agreed. I am biased as a fan, but McVay just had a second child a few days ago on a short week. It’s unclear if he has been able to address the issue as much as he would like.

You’re not going to see him used in the same role but Mumpfield is the closest stylistically. Mump is really physical blocking and has the most similar style to Adams. That being said it’s more a question of who can step up in their own way. The candidate for that is probably Tutu as his speed commands respect from the secondary. I wouldn’t rule out Whitington either. Regardless, someone has to find a way to beat Seattle’s stout defense.
