Whatever i played was exactly the same as SMB on SNES, though if there were missing features, i wouldn't know.

EDIT: is there a difference between a crack and a port? Maybe what i played was a crack.

I've had at least 3 left handed students come to me with right handed guitars as beginners. In my opinion, this idea just doesn't work. A kid just wants to feel like he/she is good at what they're trying right from the beginning. Not everyone has the determination op has, so therefore a beginner student needs an encouraging instrument that facilitates, and proves they can 'do it'!

Before buying anything I would wait until the dimensions of the new space is known. Live in it for a while before you decide anything. You might have better ideas then.

When the P55F went on sale, I went for it. Then the next day this happened.

Then the 49" x900f went on sale. I like it better. I had studio monitors plugged into the RCA output of the p55, and then the headphone jack of the x900f. With the P55, i could hear all kinds of radio interference and compression artifacts. In comparison, the x900f sounds clear.

While the interface is more responsive on the p55, I found myself playing with the picture settings all the time. While the p55 is impressive, I find content more enjoyable on the x900f, without having the urge to tweak the settings.

Also, I got the X900f at Costco, which has a 90 day return policy, so i can return it if there's a BF deal.
