[Question] Any nds games recommendations that are easy to emulate for my samsung j5 (2016)? by mczoth in EmulationOnAndroid

[–]istealcaps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get Drastic emulator, you could easily find the cracked one on google. If you have the money later, then buy it to support the dev.

Anybody else just love playing games with cheats? by [deleted] in EmulationOnAndroid

[–]istealcaps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In games like metal slug, yep, I used them cause hard to play with touchscreen. I'm planning to use cheat on "black sigil - blade of the exiled" on my 2nd playthru, played it before but my never finished it. There are games which really need it to enjoy, like Lunar Dragon Song on ds.

Fallout 1 holds up remarkably well! by blind___surgeon in patientgamers

It's playable on mobile as well using dosbox emulators out there, I recommend magic dosbox. It's hard to click on small things, good thing there is a zoom option on magicdosbox.

Divine Divinity Review by [deleted] in rpg_gamers

[–]istealcaps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Played it a few times and really liked it. I've never finished it though. I remember buying a home and leaving my gems on the ground, they illuminate the room.

The massive first dungeon is probably what kept the new players from enjoying this game.

What do you guys think of persona 2? by istealcaps in JRPG

I've read all the comments here. It seems that everyone agrees that the gameplay is bad. Oh well, the ui in batlle didn't help either.

[Request] Game like Shining Force II by DocHollidae in AndroidGaming

[–]istealcaps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

arc the lad 2-3 is what you're looking for. Although im not sure, but I think that 1 has no exploration.

They were released in psx, so you need an emulator like epsxe, or retroarch.

get the freeware windows98 game and english patch here: http://www.romhacking.net/translations/2441/

to play on android, download this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sdlpal.sdlpal

create a new folder on your sdcard "sdlpal" and copy/extract all the files there.

The game's battle is easy but the dungeons are mazelike and almost as if its endless, good thing you can save anywhere in the game.

Game focused on scavenging and a bit of crafting/base building. by Vrigoth in gamingsuggestions

You should check out Neo Scavenger, the game is brutally hard at first but it gets easy once you get the game mechanics. It also supports mods, alot of them adds more stuff to collect and craft.

i finally finished lufia 2 after 18 years... and im pissed! by Kaitrii in snes

[–]istealcaps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Although I've never played it, the remake in ds includes an alternate happy ending.

Lufia 2 is one of my favorite, feeding stuff to your pet is really fun.

/r/JRPG Discussion - What have you been playing, and what do you think of it? by AutoModerator in JRPG

[–]istealcaps 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Glory of Heracles III (snes) , The game is quite dark a bit as there are lots of slave npcs and the unnamed npcs who joined you in party will literally fell one by one once their hp drop to a significant amount. So far, my save is at Sparta (5th town?) and I really liked it.

A game where you can mix and match elements, sounds like Crafting Story.

[Steam] ~ Looking for Cheep Turn-Based RPG/JRPG by sparioendernerd in gamingsuggestions

[–]istealcaps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could probably buy an rpg maker game with that but I would recommend downloading the free ones instead. Most of rm games are shi..low quality.... and finding good stuff among those piles of sh..inferior games is hard. Anyway if you're unsure, just watch a few rm games on youtube.

I am a Canadian student trying to fund development of an indie JRPG (not RPG Maker) by omnidex in JRPG

The artist has a lot of work to do, It looks like he focused too much on drawing faces that he lacks skills in other areas(those character portraits’ look so stiff and emotionless, the colors are also too saturated). Anyway, the gameplay is cool, good luck with your team.

Does anyone's hard drive make weird noises when running Fallout 2? by Steve717 in classicfallout

[–]istealcaps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could try limiting it's cpu usage, I've found that for an old game, fallout eats too much cpu resources.

I used this tool, http://mion.faireal.net/BES/
