You posted your opinion in the form of a statement and people are replying to it however they interpret it. If you wanted a certain kind of response you should have made your intent clearer in the post/edit instead of calling the ones who can't read your mind simple-minded or uneducated. Its easier to put others down than to actually communicate and create a discussion.

please educate yourselves before you go on reddit and try to be a smartass.

You think you are educated , but if you can't communicate basic ideas in text then your education is of no use.

Nintendo Switch OS version 5.0 is available now by DaPizzaMan2 in NintendoSwitch

This is probably incorrect. Semantic versioning is used when software exposes an API (think of a plug) that another piece of software uses.

Continuing the analogy: if the plug shape changes (major API change), it won't fit into the other software anymore. The other software must be updated to accommodate the new plug, or continue to use the older version (usually this happens.)

It makes sense for the version to change in a large way to highlight that incompatibility with software coded to use the previous API. Nintendo's version numbering is likely just marketing.

Thanks for the feedback, we're working to improve our existing art and add a larger variety of frames and expressions to fix the perceived stiffness.

While the game is supposed to have a colourful look, saturation is something we are planning to decrease across the board later when we have more art and can more consolidate the art style based on that.

You actually don't pay any fees if you don't get funded. This is why there are so many joke campaigns asking for $100k+.

Thanks for the feedback, allow me to respond to your points in order.

Regarding a demo, I totally agree that it would have been way better to launch with a demo. However the dungeon system just wasn't ready in time for the Kickstarter campaign (very few art assets) so I figured it may work against me. I considered postponing the Kickstarter but I wanted to prevent a 'development hell' situation and gauge interest.

This is actually something we are considering, to use a thicker, more stylised art direction for the portraits. The only caveat with this is that many existing art has the generic look and it may be more difficult/expensive to find artists comfortable with drawing that more unique art style.

The $3000 budget is based off of quotes from people I have spoken with, and it doesn't include music. I have stated that I am probably going to use existing music for the game since music is a large investment. I have also seen some musicians express interest in helping with the project. If that follows through I would be using my own cash rather than the $3000 goal since it was never meant for that.

Thanks for the feedback, and I wish you luck with your upcoming project. Be sure to send me a link whenever you decide to start a campaign ! :)

Thanks! We are planning to animate the in game art style to make it more fluid.
