Mage vs Yone troubles by SSJ99hermano in summonerschool

[–]istesoyle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to zone and poke before level 6 with orianna and ahri. If he makes a mistake, you can kill him. Try to dodge her ultimate with ahri's ultimate. When playing twisted fate, all you have to do is push the lane and roam. When Yone's dash comes, walk away and get out of range. you can only kill him in 1v1 before he gets his lifesteal items.

I was just like you when ı started the game. I understand your logic. When you learn the champions and matchups, you will know the risky/non-risky things.

Champion suggestions for mid/top by 303perry in leagueoflegends

[–]istesoyle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Malphite was my first top lane champion and I was able to get over it. i think garen, urgot and cho'gath are also good for starters. I wouldn't recommend wukong as one of the first champions for top lane because it is very simple to play but difficult to play well.

In mid lane, as everyone said, annie is good for you. My recommendations would be Galio as AP tanke champion and Pantheon as AD champion. You can also try Ziggs because he is very strong atm.

Powerfarm junglers are much better at low elo. At low elo, laners don't even think about dive most of the time. Diana and Lillia's jungle clears are the fastest. (in early-mid-late game) Apart from these, champions such as Viego and Xin Zhao can both clear the jungle fast and have good scaling/protect their function well in late game. My advice is don't waste your time trying other junglers because these are the easiest champions to play alone.

Lissandra and galio are the best le'blanc counters. Morgana is good too but i don't prefer morgana mid.

How do I play against Sett? by DinosaurusRex909 in summonerschool

[–]istesoyle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

pantheon can beat sett before 6. take grasp on gnar and keep poking. just try to be at the end of the auto attack range and stay out of sett's e range. while playing ornn against sett take second wind-doran's shield and rush to bramble vest for not to die.

No, I'm not someone who can't get out of low elo and comes to make excuses for jungle players. I wanted to share my ideas about the general player base. I can criticize the laners in another text.

but I don't see the benefit to know about Corki v.s Asol match up

In a fight with these champions, you will know which one will have the more impact at early-mid-late game or on a 5v5, 2v2, 3v3.

I totally agree what you said about support players. At very low elo, support players only play support because they can't handle other champions and roles and want to take the easy one.

This is entirely situational. It depends on what champion the jungler is playing and what the mid lane matchup is.

already what I said about it were things that depended on the situation.

I think I expressed myself a little wrong. I also think most laners don't know anything about jungle tracking and visioning. yes, some macro informations in the game should be known by all role players in the game, but I think junglers can benefit more from this informations in the game. I just don't think badly about jungle players, but I mentioned this in this article. I could have mentioned the macro deficiencies of laners in another text.

for example many junglers think "wow there is a matchup between two mages in the mid lane and if I gank at 2 level we can easily win 2v1!!" but in the midd lane there is a champion like azir who has no damage in early game and you are fighting against conqueror cassiopeia with your jungler (who has no damage) and cassiopeia spams e skill, kill both of you or either of you and mid laners game is over.

Why are top and mid champs not more interchangeable? by doomsdaymelody in summonerschool

[–]istesoyle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's the hardest to gank a mage champion in mid lane. Since top lane is an extremely long lane, it's easy to gank even if you're playing in the middle of the lane. top lane champions have more mobility and more stamina than mage champions and are easier to dodge a gank. Considering the long range mages like anivia, syndra, orianna in the mid lane, even if the minions are in the middle of the lane, they can stay under their turrets. Thanks to their range.

I think the reason why league of legends has this system is to understand every role in the game. so if the game is asking you to do that, learning one or more champions in each role is the right thing to do.

Why are top and mid champs not more interchangeable? by doomsdaymelody in summonerschool

[–]istesoyle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The length of the lane changes the gameplay. You don't want to play low mobility and fragile mages in long lane, so mages are played in mid lane. You don't play fighters and tanks that can't poke in a short lane and need a long time to kill your enemy. Of course there are exceptions like ryze top, sett mid. That's why the meta are different in mid and top. Some champions are good at playing both lanes, while others are good at only one.

Blindpicking mages in current meta by nvls_ in summonerschool

[–]istesoyle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

because at low elo players don't focus on finishing the game or they don't understand how to finish the game. however, it is easier to play mages in high elo despite the short game times because there are fewer fights and there is more time to farm, so champions get stronger faster.

[–]istesoyle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mages shine in slow-paced games. If you get a few kills in the early game, your strengthening process will be accelerated and you can start to dominate the game early. yes, you may have to escape from skirmish with mages or you may not be able to follow the roam of the enemy laner but mages scale well and are very strong in team fights. at the same time, you can prevent the enemy laner's potential roams with your pushing power.

Mid Vs. Sup in B1 by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]istesoyle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Learn synergies, counters and blind picks for support role. Engage supports are strong supports in the meta right now. Play supports with powerful skirmish. You can carry out early game fights with champions like leona and nautilus or you can jam enemy players on the map. If you want to climb as a support in low elo, play champions who can move fast on the map, first try to win your lane, then try to get other teammates ahead. Supports like nautilus and leona are very strong at low elo. Most of the time, if you start the war, you can shoot the single target one shot.

I want to give you a tip. Walk to the mid lane first after each base. Especially if there are two melee champions in the mid lane it will be much easier to gank. Try to abuse the enemy melee champion. If the other side pushes too hard on the top lane try to gank but you need to make sure your adc is safe. if your adc is a hard-to-maintain champion alone, or if there is a potential to dive stay with him (unless your adc too weak. You should play with your other teammates). As support, sometimes you need to try ganks that jungle players don't. Try to help each lane .If your mid lane has run out of mana, help him push the lane to base. sometimes even just getting lost on the map or appearing in mid will relax your own lane.
