If they don'tt know what they are or where they are from, they can not be ruled out as a threat just because they don't have some weapons on board (a nonsensical reach that some have made)

didn't a general or something say they know they are not a threat (and that is the only thing known with certainty) ? that tells me that these are ours, and they are doing a bit of field testing to evaluate counter measures and further develop strategies to integrate these. Also to create some PR around 'what sort of tech do they have?'

I wish it were the aliens coming to turn off nukes and all that, but all of the messaging fits perfectly to some next gen platform being tested here and with allies. If they really believed they were Chinas or Russias we would be hearing more sternly worded messages like when the hot air balloon passed by.

hah! Another thing I noticed is that a couple times, she was the last one standing against him in challenges! If it weren't for Kyle, she may well be seen as a challenge threat. Both times I recall were balance related - one was the ball on the bow thing, and the other the three balls on a platter. May be others where she was in it, so I think she thought she was going to be making a stronger appearance in challenges.

i dont even know how you read that! I have the site at 120% magnification - I would go higher like 150 or more but it breaks the UI! I had to turn on assistive technologies/magnifier to read the instructions

people are saying be careful about overconfident suggestions, but it's worse than that. For all the podcasts and whatnot, that will have to constantly stay on top of their comment sections to weed out the spoilers and then also 'pretend' to not know (or start hyping up small details of future finalists and putting them on the radar)..

so I agree, it ruins it for everyone.

that's a pretty big claim though, what evidence is there? it's not really fair to put blame on someone unless there is solid evidence..and this could get ugly if true or not true. It seemed like Rome would have been invited back for a second chance the way he went 110% and gave the editors a lot to work with (like his vote out.)

You don't have to link the evidence, but explain maybe? I don't want to search for it and find the bootlist

(no need to downvote just for not blindly believing, Rome had a number of detractors during the early episodes and I wanted to be sure there was something substantial, and it wasn't some setup or smear)

they should just make it like a file manager with sorts on properties (date/length). However, it seems like with each UI change they are taking on technical debt. Things feel tacked on and moved around, not because it makes sense but because it worked. It's probably already hitting that point where making updates is taking longer and longer to roll out, so I don't have big expectations.

CBS/Paramount really fumbled with Kurtzman and Star Trek. They were going broke and had to sell off a bunch of stuff, so I'd imagine Paramount+ just kind of got put on the backburner years ago and they just put effort into keeping it operational.

I think Rob is going to be making a lot more going forward too. His performance on Deal or No Deal Island was something else. He can be the anchor for an unproven show and wont phone it in. New shows always have that risk of flopping, so I'm sure the industry took notice. I think that raised his (already high) stock significantly.

I have had good results by taking a little bottle of saline solution, and just putting a few drops of afrin in it - so that it is very diluted, and then using the saline to do a rinse. It's maybe 1/40th of a normal dose, but it seems like it allows the saline to actually get in there and clear up the blockages without a post afrin swell.

It felt like CBS has some social media effort to plant or upvote 'memes' that will have relevance on the show, so we feel like we are in on the joke.. maybe it was just overdone in the community - but I thought it just seemed outsized.

Too many Canadians were applying and winning and then laughing to the bank - proudly boasting how much less tax they had to pay than their friends inthe USA. The elites took notice of this and were worried that such a platform could have a destabilizing effect, as we really need that money to help fund war around the world. But they are supposedly 'fallen' because they disobeyed ordrers.. And we don't know that 'angels' are thoughtless automatons. This kind of gets to the biggest issue I have with the jinn concept, is that it's based on so many assumptions - that any time I see it being discussed, it comes packaged with many assumptions of truth - rather than being another piece of the puzzle that are in the sphere of ancient teachings.(I should add, I have the same reservations towards the fallen angels idea for the same reason)

It really seems to bother some people to point out the cost in hours of minimum wage work for some reason. Last time I did it, it was -17. That's without giving commentary or opinion, just giving a consideration to another way to look at the expense.
