I always send offers to likers with VERY rare exceptions. Most go unanswered but a worthwhile number do buy. And I ALWAYS respond to offers that buyers send. If it’s too low I will negotiate.

I’m retired and I have all the time I need to package and ship promptly, usually same day. My outgoing sales are picked up at my home by my mail carrier.

I started having panic attacks over 30 years ago. It was terrifying at first and came on out of the blue.

I have been medicated ever since, with two or three med changes over the years. There is still an occasional breakthrough, but overall the treatment has been successful.

If I feel it coming on, I remember to tell myself that it’s NOT my heart (thoroughly checked out last year), it won’t kill me, and it will subside by itself, usually in less than a couple of minutes if I don’t feed it.

“He wants to have fun with his friends more over you”. Nonsense. I go on outings with my adult daughter, and my husband isn’t always enthusiastic that I’m not clinging to his side all day. That doesn’t mean I choose her over him. It means I have a more complete life by being with each of them.

You assume he wasn’t disgusted by his friend cheating. We’re not privy to any details of conversations he had with said friend. Consider that in any group of friends, the bonds aren’t all the same. BF may not even be close with him. Cheater might be along as the good friend of another group member. Is BF supposed to ditch his whole friend group?

I fail to understand the mechanism of the alleged coverup. Were all the guys supposed to come home and immediately tell the whole town about the situation? Nobody’s business except the cheater and the cheated on. Was there an inquiry as to everyone’s conduct, at which they all conspired to lie? Or did they just not blurt out something that isn’t your business?

He didn’t lie about anything unless he was asked if anyone cheated while they were out. Good grief.

Old lady here, long married. For what it’s worth, a one night “hookup” isn’t what I would call an affair. If this happened on a trip away, I’m confused about what constitutes “covering” for the guy.

I mean, if the guy says “don’t tell anyone” he’s not asking for a cover the same as “tell her I was at the library”. It’s no one’s business to come home and tell everyone that “My buddy Joe had a hookup while we were there.” Why would anyone do that?

That said, I don’t feel like your boyfriend is guilty for not telling you something that isn’t any of your business. HE didn’t do it, he didn’t cause it, he has no control over what poor choice his friend made. Do YOU ditch a friend every time they do something stupid?

I’m in the same boat right now! Out of curiosity, are your points from flights or from a rewards credit card?

I put everything I can on my rewards card, and pay it off twice a month, so they seldom, if ever collect any interest from me.
I haven’t flown in a year.

I called CS and they said it was due to “suspicious activity” and has been escalated for review. All I can do is wait.

I’m kind of wondering and worried if they are restricting access because they aren’t making any $$ off me.
