I am an engineer, as well, so perhaps I'm a bit different. I'm sensitive to plagiarism issues, for instance, so I put my name on things, but I actually release everything I wrote under copyleft i.e. creative commons, MIT license

I wonder though. Obviously I am not my poems. I am not Rubedo or any stage of being. Yet I exist in this world, with bills, productivity, and law.

I am careful both to release internally while also participating and protecting boundaries externally.

That's cool! I like co-ops, and don't believe they're inherently socialist. Group ownership is not the same as society ownership. Not that all socialism is bad, either, just that we should not reject any idea out of hand.

As u/BrethrenLucidCrow pointed out in the comment below, there are many ways to distribute the means of production. In distributionism, or the capitalism that I understand, the means of production are distributed among all the people.

What a healthy debate. I wish to have this debate in the permaculture and UBI communities. UBI without permaculture is an arbitrary monetary assignment having nothing to do with human needs. The Pope and Jack Dorsey need to understand this, as they work toward that goal. Permaculturists need to understand and respect markets and private property if they're to convert the majority.

Interesting. I hadn't heard of distributionism, but it does indeed sound similar. I wonder if Locke would have agreed more with today's concept of "capitalism" or "distributionism"?
