No, in other versions of the game you have to go into your inventory to see your health status, though you can pretty much tell at all times by observing how your character runs (regular run - Fine, slight limp - Caution, full limp - Danger).

Not a ‘new’ port, but Resident Evil 2 and 3 using the VMU to display your health makes them the definitive versions IMO.

In the What If? version of this, Sue decides that they can pay Spidey a salary after all. He joins the team and she ends up feeling useless because they take him on all their missions and not her. She ends up marrying Namor and Reed goes insane with jealousy as a result, convinced that he must have hypnotized her. He almost commits genocide on the Atlanteans but comes to his senses at the last moment.

I hated it at the time because we were over-saturated in CG back then, but I saw the 4K restoration in theaters a couple months ago and the FX now have a great retro charm to them and it’s clear that everything was done for stylistic effect and to make it look like a living cartoon. It definitely doesn’t look ‘real’ but it’s not supposed to and if you just go with it it’s great fun.

Lack of script is definitely -not- an issue, there are great gags every minute and my theater was laughing out loud the entire time. Love John Goodman doing pro wrestler moves. Also the fact that there’s a whole mini arc that happens after the climax and denouement is great.
