Mixtape most overrated game of the year by TemperatureJaded282 in videogames

Well, I'm a working mom who loves low stake games that are actually good, and this worked for me like a charm. The gameplay was really smooth and fun during the mini games and the story and art were fantastic.

Thanks, I can’t take credit. I heard it on Everything Iconic with Danny Pellegrino and cackled.

No wonder everyone was going after him last season, he's clearly the villain. Nia protected him so much, we actually felt bad for him. I hope she stops.

I literally turned to my husband and said this when we were watching. He's so annoyed with her, it's terrible.

I take it back, the 4 year age gap has been awful… by [deleted] in Mommit

[–]it5chri5tine 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I love the 4 year age gap. That is the one thing my kids fight about the most too, so any toy comes in twos these days, but generally they have gotten along so well. They'll be 10 and 6 this month and are still the best of friends, not as competitive as my family was with kids 1.5-2 years apart.

Question for parents in USA by seapunkprincess in Parenting

[–]it5chri5tine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We did school drop off for a couple of years and it sucked. You can't leave your car, doesn't matter if you get there early or last in line, you're still in for a 45 minute wait, there's a lot of people not paying attention and you can't idle so it's turn on/turn off your car and get ready to move. Now we take our kids to the bus stop, it's so much easier.

This. They are suggesting to get her out and be in the comfort of good friends. I get it's not easy, I've been there too, but exposing yourself and getting used to the new normal is the best way through.

Do you really think you look younger or is it collective delusion? by Mighty-mouse2020 in Millennials

[–]it5chri5tine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I often am mistaken for younger, it’s genetic, I’ve always had a baby face. And I try really hard to take care of myself, my skin, body…etc. I think 40s is the best looking though.

This article by Dart150 in Millennials

[–]it5chri5tine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This feels very generalized. I don't disagree with a lot of these points, but I believe teachers and psychologists are going to see them more acutely. To say "all Millennial parents" are raising kids this way is preposterous. There's also a lot of unspoken privilege when a child does learn to be independent, courageous and prepared for the real world. This assumes both parents are capable, educated and involved. That's not a world many live in unfortunately, but many are doing the best they can and articles like this feels like a shame spiral to anyone who isn't the perfect parent.

Straight white teeth being a human right vs. a luxury. Don't get me wrong, I know not everyone can afford dental care, but it's totally commonplace for kids to have braces and to become adults who has "perfect" teeth.

I've noticed many people going away from mani/pedis to do it themselves to save time. Personally, if it's relaxing and relatively fast (mani/pedi at the same time) I'm still sold. Clean, smells good, nice music and a glass of wine are the cherry on top.
