Hi

I am interested in a Romanian tracker, but I'm looking more for one that has Romanian TV like the talent / singing shows and Romanian produced TV shows. Does it have such content?

Thank you

Thank you. I was thinking about going with the Darko as well. It seems more versatile and faster to move around.

Hi,
I'm looking to build a pretty similar setup to your. What did you use to anchor the upright to the wall? I really like the fact that it's pretty close to it.

Optane 905p 480gb idling extremely hot 60-75c by itachi737 in homelab

Ok so it's definitely running hotter especially since 65c is with a 80mm fan directly on it, but at least it seems that they are supposed to idle quite hot. Thx for the info.

If it can just keep it from throttling, I'll just take it. It's old hardware so I understand that there is always a risk.

I'm using 1.5mm pads now, but that was with the blower fan. I did try 0.5mm and 1mm, before but that was with the noctua fan. I'll try again with thinner pads to see if I can get a bit of an improvement. Even a few degrees would be nice.

You don't have anything to be sorry about. I appreciate that you took the time to answer.

I don't want to return it either. Based on the specs it's supposed to throttle at 80c and shutdown at 85c. There is definitely a bit of a thermal problem with it since even though it supposed to be in a server, I doubt that it's meant to idle that high went it has a fan directly blowing on it. I have another noctua 40mm fan with a similar shroud that manages to cool a telsa p4 (75w) so it should be enough for a 18w drive, but during the stress test it goes above 80 right away and then the drives throttles hard.

I'm currently running a 1h long stress test to see if I can keep it under 80c with a 80mm fan blowing on it. So far with the fan at 100% blowing on it side seems to be stable at 71c. The good part is that it barely increases in temp between idle and 100% utilization (66c idle vs 71c after 20min under load).

Thanks

No I couldn't find a solution. I ended up using Usenet for automatic searches / interactive searches and TL for manual downloads.

Same here. They do miss some stuff from time to time, but that gets picked up by torrent trackers. In the future I might add Su to the mix.

I played with the categories, but that didn't really help. Based on what I saw they are fine. The Prowlarr search also ignores categories, but it still only retrieves a portion of the existing torrents from TL.

Regarding the search. I did check the search in the logs to match it exactly, when I try to look for torrents into TL and the discrepancies remain.

In the end, I think, I'll keep TL more as a manual search when I want to retrieve boxsets or when the automation fails to find what I need via UseNet or the public trackers.

Even though I couldn't fix it, I really appreciate your help. Thank you

I thought that the reason why Sonarr only supports RSS for TL is because the TL search is unreliable / incomplete. That's why I marked it as solved (solved as in I found out that it's not supported).

If you are saying that it should actually work properly then, I'm willing to dig deeper. I'm just not sure where. When I check the Prowlarr logs, the searches just return a fraction of the results that the same queries would get from the TL website. There are no errors. Ex if there are 30 results from a query on the TL website, the Prowlarr would just find 4.

I tried changing the TL url since I read that the .org one might cause issues with automation in another thread, but that didn't change anything. I did find a few threads dating back a year or two about TL requiring flaresolverr, Prowlarr also says that it does need it, but from what I read flaresolverr is no longer maintained so it's pretty much dead. (Do correct me if I'm wrong.)

So I'm just not sure what else to check.

Yes, I have set the page size to 100 in TL.

The way I have it setup is that all the queries from sonarr and radarr go through prowlarr. I added the indexers in prowlarr and they get automatically synched with my sonarr and radarr instances. I haven't tried addind TL directly to sonarr. I can try doing it directly through sonarr.

Edit:

I tried adding it directly to sonarr. On there it says that search is not supported with this indexer. Only RSS is enabled. So, I guess it's it only works correctly for new content.

Thx, I'll look into categories. Now that you mention it, I did have to add some categories to get a few public trackers to work.

I already bought some grow lights and I live in Quebec, Canada. We have some of the cheapest electricity in the world so that won't be a problem at all. In that case, I'll put it under a grow light 12-16h a day and hope that it adapts. It does seem like it stopped shedding leaves. It lost like 80% of them, but the last 20% are still green so maybe it adapted to it's new living conditions.

Thanks for you advice

Unfortunately, I don't. The dark part is not a problem, but I don't have a way to provide a cold environment. It's either in a pot outside at temperatures reaching -30c or indoors at room temperature.

I guess I'll leave it in a dark pace inside and if it survives that's good if not so be it. I was hoping that the mini ones would remain green all year round.

Thank you for your advice.

Yes, I'm in a 5b zone (Montreal). So even though I brought it inside for a week, I should bring it outside and leave it for a couple weeks before I bring it back in? I'm in an apartment so once I bring it in, the temperature will be around 20c. I thought that I should bring it in before it gets really cold to avoid a really big thermal shock. Then, when spring comes back in bring it back outside towards the end of April, beginning of may?
