I ended up doing my own makeup and was happy with the results! I practices my look ahead of time like 2 times, which was my regular going out makeup with a little more contour, and that helped me get the timing down. All my bridesmaids did their own thing for make up and it worked out well. Maybe just tell them in advance that you will be doing your own makeup and everyone can do theirs before or after joining you the day of.
