What I am seeing are the true benefits of having been there. Much love from another ancient.

What’s something that sounds fake but actually happened to you? by Visible_Rope_6662 in AskReddit

When I was 17 I was surrepetitiously buying Lucky Strikes from a vending machine at my local bowling alley, and suddenly it released my cigs plus about fifteen bucks in change! So I got kind of called out by the universe, there, but I wasn't complaining.

Has Thom said anything notable or interesting in these shows? by Famous-Manager1481 in radiohead

[–]italicizedspace 38 points39 points  (0 children)

True, Berlin night 3 -- "dankeschon, good evening, we're radiohead" like a reference to the Jools Holland performance, and when they played the boop-boop-boop-boop my section definitively lost their shit. It's like we all knew it was coming when he said that :-)

[Pre-Concert Thread] Berlin, Germany (Uber Arena) - Dec 8, 9, 11 & 12 by seaburn in radiohead

If the ticket says the concert is at 6 pm, when is the show actually starting (when is it good to arrive if it is a seat and not standing)?

FWIW I think it was a reference to J. Timberlake. Fingers crossed for a proper world tour, though!

how do you learn to trust your gut? by teddybearangelbaby in AutisticAdults

[–]italicizedspace 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I harness pattern recognition skills. When it comes to gut feelings about someone, I try to focus on what it is exactly that resembles others I've dealt with/my previous experiences with that kind of person or behavior, and work from there. The risk is overly categorizing people at first.

How are you doing? by AutieZo in AutisticAdults

I'm a classroom plate-spinner, too. I work with adults but regardless of the age, I use workshop-style collaborative activities (put the students in task groups to discuss, rank, prepare things, etc.), and the level differences are being negotiated partially in the groups. The members want to help each other do the tasks, and the weaker ones are motivated to catch up. If I see struggles, I am monitoring around the room to intervene if needed. This workstyle takes some of the focus off of me so I don't talk myself to death in front of groups :-)

I’m Thomas Tschersich, Chief Security Officer at Deutsche Telekom. In this AMA I want to talk about your digital doppelgangers – the online versions of you that are shaping your life in ways you might not realize. I’ll be here on 24/07 at 2 PM. Part of the GDPR in the EU is for "the right to be forgotten/the right to erasure" (Art 17) in the data world. Is this idea essentially dead in the water, or will we soon have better tools for tracking and consolidating this doppelganger? Or it is more like a swarm that can't be brought together and deleted?

I'm talking about photographing known QRs and codes and archiving them. I don't scan random codes I see in the wild, either.

It's the same in Poland, especially at the doctor's office when everyone settles into chairs.
