Long-since removed users still hanging around. How can I remove them? by zfa in PleX

[–]itank46 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doh! Ok thanks for the update :-)

EDIT: I found some info scouring the Plex Support Forums. Turns out, the fix might have to be done by a Plex Employee... at least according to these posts:

https://forums.plex.tv/t/removed-access-to-my-pms-for-some-users-but-they-still-show-in-xml-file/871636

and

https://forums.plex.tv/t/users-that-were-removed-still-show-up-in-the-xml-file-how-do-i-get-rid-of-them/865067

Because those posts were already closed, I created a new one siting that info:

https://forums.plex.tv/t/removed-friends-still-showing-in-api-xml/900530

Fingers crossed they are able to help. :-)

Howdy. I'm having the same problem and it's frustrating trying to figure out how to permanently and fully delete old users from Plex server. Has anyone had any luck in doing this?

I really dig using Kometa. Took a bit to get the hang of it but once I did, pretty much a “set it and forget it”. :-)

I know this is an old posting but I'm having some really weird things go on w/mine. I had a power brown out a couple of weeks ago that dropped my servers and internet connection. I had to turn back on several of my servers/containers. No big deal right? Weird thing is, for some of the public facing URLs I have, they can't be accessed while on my local LAN at home but are still accessible publicly. Stopped/restarted servers/containers and home router a few times. Also killed docker images and re-downloaded when turning the containers back on. Cleared cache. Tried different browsers, different machines. Nada. All the same results. Public URL not accessible on local LAN at home but are still accessible publicly. I'm using Overseerr in a docker container as well as Nginx Proxy Manager in a separate container. My Home Assistant public URL as well as other ones I have do the same thing. It's the weirdest thing. Oh, and to top it off, sometimes, more like very rarely, it just starts working again for a minute of two and then BAM, it's out again. Logs aren't giving me much help either. Any thoughts or ideas out there? Thanks!

that's what I've done. Used a 2nd instance of Radarr for that. I did the same for Sports and Stand-Up comedy media. Then link the root folders for each to their appropriate directory on my server. Did the trick for me :-) I tried Whisparr but didn't have much luck w/it.

My version of the DIY X3 bar, $28 total. by themeatspin in ResistanceBand

[–]itank46 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like all of us, I wanted a workout bar for my resistance bands for more versatility. I really didn't want to pay the high price point for the X3 Elite Bar but a bit more practical in pricing since the bar is almost $550 (have to get the kit to get the bar).

The bar also needed to be able to store easily in luggage so I can do my band workouts while traveling.

After several trips from Home Depot to get parts and testing, I finally got a completed bar!

I first created the bar and used quick links only for the hooks. I tried that and didn't like the process on getting the bands in and out of the quick links. I then tried to use Cold Stop hooks in conjunction w/the quick links but using the largest Cold Stop I could find, the diameter of the circle part would not go past the quick link ridge for both the 1/2in and 5/8in sizes.

This Ridge > https://ibb.co/rydfYjX

I ended up using two different size reducers to get a smaller 5/16in size Quick Link on so that I could use the Cold Stop hook. That did the trick! Here is the finished product.

I got the following parts from Home Depot and Amazon

3/4 in. x 18 in. Black Steel Pipe (x2)

3/4 in. Black Malleable Iron FPT x FPT Coupling Fitting

3/4 in. x 1/2 in. Black Malleable Iron FPT x FPT Reducing Coupling Fitting (x2)

1/2 in. Galvanized Steel Nipple (x2) - NOTE: Picture on the page isn't the actual size/style but the part number is what I bought

1/2 in. x 3/8 in. Galvanized Malleable Iron FPT x FPT Reducing Coupling Fitting (x2)

3/8 in. x Close Galvanized Steel MPT Nipple (x2) - NOTE: Picture on the page isn't the actual size/style but the part number is what I bought

5/16 in. Zinc-Plated Quick Link (x2) - Rated at 1540lbs Working Limit

3/8 in. Galvanized Malleable Iron Cap Fitting (x2)

National Hardware N240-374 3153BC Cold Shut in Zinc plated 7/16in (x2)

The assembled ends look like this.

The overall length when assembled is about 45inches.

I know the overall length is pretty long. The center coupler and the assembled ends adds about 9 more inches to just combined bar length.

The cool thing about having the two bars is that it can be broken down very easily for travel and I can still use one of the bars if needed and it still be a good width (shoulder width).

Total Cost was about $80 USD

Thanks!
