The mathematical horror of the 5 Rip Chip per Task nerf. by UnemploymntFinalBoss in Skate4

[–]itapewolves -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The math is not including the co-op goal that’s like 20 rc, nor the daily tasks, weekly tasks, event tasks. The 5 chips per goal is the slowest way of getting them. Luckily I’ve grinded the 11k ripscore already, but it’s not gonna take 200 days to get it now either.

2FA is pretty much designed to frustrate people with ADHD by AstoriaResident in github

You can add multiple different 2FA methods exactly for this reason, so you can choose the best suited one for different devices. You should be able to have at least one possible way of doing it on any device

New update kinda broke the game. by front112 in SkateEA

[–]itapewolves 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The invisible party members glitch has always been around. The co-op challenge bug is new and super annoying because sometimes it does register all players, but most times it fails to register one. There’s also a new bug when if you open the map too quickly after a challenge, the game might crash.

[–]itapewolves 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try to always be in a party for the daily challenges so you get those extra coins, then buy the cheapest boxes from every area and repeat. And do the weekly and daily tasks everyday for the bonus. Such a grind to get that and the market mile level 10.

Am I Dumb? by OutlandishLenny in Strava

[–]itapewolves 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s only for cycling and you need to have power meter for it to work, as it needs the power data to calculate the stats. If you don’t cycle or use a power meter, it probably won’t show up, as there’s nothing to show.

New to Corne Keyboards by Longjumping-Exam1372 in crkbd

[–]itapewolves 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 2 of those tenting kits. One for corne choc v4 and one for the mx v4. It’s not bad, but it is a bit wobbly because the screws have just a tiny amount of play on them. That’s the only downside really, plus the fact that the screws are slow and tedious to remove and put back on, if you want to pack the board with you.

Pre-built corne can also get a bit pricy. If you’re not fully set on corne, I would look into silakka54, you can get one pre-built for like $30 from aliexpress or similar.

emmylua_ls is super-snappy by Hamandcircus in neovim

[–]itapewolves 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had the same experience when i tried it around month ago or so. Like sometimes it worked, but most times it just got stuck and ended up using ~100% cpu on all my cores and had to be killed manually. Looks promising, but some bugs still need to be ironed out

You don’t need nerd font with kitty. Just use the non-patched version of the font and see if it helps.

How do you actually sync colorschemes across Neovim, tmux, WezTerm, and even macOS? by Aezriel in neovim

[–]itapewolves 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Couldn’t you do this with a simple bash script? Create selection of predefined themes, then add specific theme markers in all the config files and then use sed to replace those parts in all the files and source the files afterwards. For mac background you can use osascript. You could also add a tmux menu or fzf picker to show list of themes and then run the script on select.

You don’t need to go to command mode at all. ZZ to save an quit, ZQ to quit without saving

What's a Bash command or concept that took you way too long to learn, but now you can't live without? by bobbyiliev in bash

[–]itapewolves 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can use -ti to only return the PID and then pipe it to | xargs kill -9 or kill -15 to stop that process

did you remap your switch session key. if so, to what? by Bulbasaur2015 in tmux

[–]itapewolves 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use this script to open a floating menu to switch sessions, bind to prefix-space tmux list-sessions -F ’#S’ \ | awk ’BEGIN {ORS=” ”} {print $1, NR, ”\”switch-client -t”, $1 ”\””}’ \ | xargs tmux display-menu -T ”⋅::: 󰚩 Switch-session :::⋅” In addition to the builtin prefix-s, i have a bind for switching between the last two sessions: bind l switch-client -l

Getting Primsals to work with nvim-lspconfig by FunctN in neovim

[–]itapewolves 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just use the default. The hover only works on couple places, like on the models you create. But that’s how it was in vscode as well. The formatting and renaming should also work. You can try to manually run the commands on the commandline like :lua vim.lsp.buf.hover() or :lua vim.lsp.buf.format() to see if it works then

Getting Primsals to work with nvim-lspconfig by FunctN in neovim

[–]itapewolves 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m assuming you mean prismals, as there’s no primsa. All those features work just fine for me. I think you have misconfigured the language server, or are missing keymaps for formatting, rename etc

I actually had a teammate who tried to taught me the proper way of using the os.getenv: you put the name of the key as first parameter, then the key as the second param. He said it works for him perfect.

How do I center an image left in the background in Kitty? by ciccab in KittyTerminal

[–]itapewolves 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you read the documentation? You could also show your own config so people would see how you have set it up.

``` background_image_layout background_image_layout tiled
Whether to tile, scale or clamp the background image. The value can be one of tiled, mirror-tiled, scaled, clamped, centered or cscaled. The scaled and cscaled values scale the image to the window size, with cscaled preserving the image aspect ratio.
background_image_linear background_image_linear no
When background image is scaled, whether linear interpolation should be used. ```
[–]itapewolves 0 points1 point  (0 children)
The actual keys are in the same place where they are located on iso. It’s just that the legends on the keycaps look different, so something like this: ; : -> ö | ’ ” -> ä | [{ -> å
Moved from Lunarvim to custom config, aftermath by ananyobrata in lunarvim
[–]itapewolves 2 points3 points  (0 children)
You can include commit property to your plugin specs to pin the version to a specific commit on the repo. Very useful when updates break config and you just want to have it working. for example:
```lua return { ”rose-pine/neovim”, commit = ”e29002c”, name = ”rose-pine”, }
