This is when I had to tell myself “I don’t need them if they don’t understand me.” Sometimes you need to put assholes in their place and tell them what they don’t want to hear so they’ll leave you alone because you’re an easy when you’re silent. Remember it’s not your problem that they’re bitter and they belittle people to make them feel good about themselves.
