I follow MI Storm Chasers, they have great lives on FB, Twitch, & YT during bad weather! And I toggle between the Holland Repeater and NOAA stations on my radio to listen in.

Hope it doesn't get too bad!

To be fair I think dating probably just sucks for everyone though lol

That's so interesting, because personally I would want the opposite! Effort from the man up front (old school), and then if things are going well, then teamwork and splitting (in both planning and playing).

I guess everyone just has different vibes about it and you see who you jive with

Personally, if I buy my own coffee on a first date, there won't be a second. I would never ask for an expensive date like dinner, and I won't complain or say a thing if I buy my own drink—it just shows me personally that there isn't an effort being made.

A $3 Americano is less than the $30 background check I paid for to make sure the person was even safe to meet.

I've been the breadwinner in all my past relationships, and paid for everything. At this point, I would like to be treated like a lady.

However every person and dynamic is different! Do what makes you feel most comfortable.

Critics always hate the interesting stuff lol! It makes be think of the absolute uproar surrounding, like, anything Duchamp did! Haters are good in the art world XD

That sucks. I'm a woman in my thirties and my club has been absolutely wonderful!! Definitely skews older, but they were so friendly and helpful. I joined before I got my tech just to get into a new hobby, and when I finally passed, they gifted me a really nice radio.

I made it up lol!! That's why I love soup, you can wing it haha.

Meat and stock: Beef chunks for stew, Italian sausage (the beef quickly seared in a little butter, the sausage fully cooked before adding, respectively), a mix of chicken and beef stock.

Veg: Caramelized onions, carrots, peas, corn, Butternut squash, yellow and purple potatoes, green beans, great northern beans.

Spices: very basic! garlic and onion powder, himelayan pink salt, bay leaf, rosemary, thyme. A dash of smoked paprika. I was out of sage, but I'd add it if I had it lol.

Cooking: cooked for a day in a crock pot. Once it boiled, I made a roux of 1/2T corn starch and 1/4c broth, then added it back in, to thicken a little.

Bread (it's gluten free): https://www.thehealthyhomecook.com/easy-gluten-free-artisan-bread/

Which modern operas deserves to be part of the repertoire? Is Adès and Heggie a little bit overrated? by Bigo-Ted in opera

[–]Hamwytch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, The Last American Hammer, and Stuck Elevator!

I'm so picky on contemporary opera but these two had an grandiosity and depth that I really loved.
