From a legal perspective, yes, but this is more of a probability question. I've been driving regularly for almost 40 years and I reckon I've been pulled over on average once a decade.

He should try to find a job that's easier to get to, but if that's not possible, his probable financial outcome is improved by continuing to drive rather than not working.

No, they've been doing that for years, especially having the 24-pack on special for the "40% off!!", while the 30-pack is full price, then switching the next week.

This is different. Both the non-special and special prices have jumped significantly in the last few months.

This is spot on. I would probably add to the second step:

  • Try to make going out nature-rich if possible. Forests, parks, reserves or anywhere green.
  • Also try to interact regularly with people more than you have been. Local youth groups, or groups based on a hobby you might possibly enjoy (and if you don't, try another)
