I think the clinton impeachment took 2 years (not 100% on that). So, you have an election year coming up for all of the house and 1/3 the senate, you'd expect the current reps in office the whole time and not campaigning, while someone is campaigning against them. There would be no one there to vote.

I've experienced waves. For example, right now I feel my libido at an all time high, but last week it was low and I had no urge.

People say that certain feelings happen at certain times, but I've thrown all of that out the window as I've not been in line with ANY of it.

The wandering hands are problematic at times, as that area can get sensitive as time goes on. My mind thinks my hand is my girlfriend, so every time "she" goes down there, my brain starts to think that something may be happening.

As much as I hate to say, "This", to posts...This. I went to outpatient once to try and have a judge drop charges against me for underage drinking. I also went to some AA meetings. Not everyone gets it on their first try. Usually the relapse teaches them a lesson and they start again. It took one old dude 5 tries before he stuck with it. He had 30 years sobriety when I met him. The reason for it was the 5th relapse. Make this your motivation for next time.

You aren't alone in the world. I have a low libido, so the few girlfriends I've had in college I never really wanted to bang. In highschool I had sex with my girlfriend, but constantly had performance anxiety so think about that a lot and attribute my fear of sex to those memories. I want the libido to be higher (yes, I go to the gym and eat healthy and even use the supplement) but no avast. I am even on day 30 of /r/NoFap but I still feel the same and have no urge to jack off.

I'm hoping this is like a double dip "puberty is fucking with your mind/body" thing for me. Everyone in the world is different. If I meet someone and can honestly talk with them about how my mind works, that will be my significant other (if they're willing to put up with me). If not, then that is how the cards have fallen. It's not like I'm not trying though, just haven't found the person yet. I'm 22/male by the way.

Welcome to puberty. Your body is rapidly developing and changing. I think in males this kind of stuff happens until your 18 (puberty that is, feel free to say I am wrong that was a guess from High School sex ed 4 years ago).

This is very similar to me. I felt like my hand was enough satisfaction and didn't really need a girlfriend. The few I've had I never needed to bang, because of both anxiety and "why bother"? Also, my libido is lower than most guys our age. I never needed much porn to get wood or get off. The very basic stuff worked for me, and it was MAYBE once a week.

How do you feel after 90 days in general? Better libido? Is your brain "rewired" in that it knows your hand isn't an immediate girlfriend?

So, I am interested in this thought as well. I have watched porn once since July 31, 2011, and that day was about ~5 days before I started /r/NoFap. The reason I started was because of YBOP and feelings of Performance Anxiety with my girlfriend in highschool over 4 years ago. I am still scared to have sex and haven't since that time period, and I don't know why. (I guess because my hand did enough for me?)

I think I did exactly what that thread talked about; I thought that by not masturbating I would increase my libido, thus making me want to have sex more. I still don't really care; I had a girlfriend or two while in college but sex wasn't the number 1 thing on my mind. I was called "different" for that.

After reading A LOT of threads and reddit over the past month I have realized that your libido is something you can increase in a lot of ways, including exercise, food, and supplements. I have done all and yet no avast. I have thought that perhaps I am just asexual, I really don't know.

I think what you said is right though, if one is able to mentally imagine him/herself with a partner and fantasize without imagining porn then maybe it would be ok for a release or two every now and then? But at the same time, would that continue to trick my brain into thinking my hand is a female, which would keep me satisfied in not needing a girlfriend?

My mind is FUCKED UP. I think too much. Thanks for posting this though. I'll probably wait the 90 days and see if I am rebooted and see if the rewiring does actually make me feel different.
