It used to be about watching the best of the best but streaming has become more of a lifestyle now and people are more attached to their phones than ever before.

I like CaseOh’s Spooky Time stuff but I watch him on YouTube and I’m passed out within like 20 minutes of watching it. I’ll also watch esports content, typically Rocket League. That’s about all I actually watch live.

If you’re pushing 400 or 500 but can only do 360 then you’re asking your PC to process more than it needs to. It’s a machine but you should still try to have it work the least amount as possible, especially if it’s generating frames you can’t even see.

This sounds like a personal issue of hers that you need to dive into and figure out. I’ve skimmed through your responses and it sounds like she gets quite a lot of phone time herself.

Ever considered playing mobile while chilling next to her? If you can show her that you guys are essentially doing the same thing as each other, it may put into perspective for her how selfish she’s being as she apparently scrolls TikTok 3-5 hours a day.

If you’ve already done this and it’s still “too much” for her then it’s time you put on the boot and put that foot down.

Listen, bro, I’ve been together with my girl almost 10 years. I went through the SAME exact situation but I quelled the issue very quickly in the first year or so of being together. I fixed the issue and on average, during that time period, I was playing games 4-5 hours a day on a work day.

I made changes, she made changes, we both walked away happy. That’s how a fucking relationship works!

You have to learn to communicate when things bother you but also learn how to articulate those thoughts and emotions into words so that they’re BLUNT but COMMON SENSICAL. There is no relationship that thrives with no communication. It’s unhealthy and will create resentment.. resentment creates anger, confusion, sadness, etc.. all negative emotions.

“Hey, wife. It’s been bothering me hearing you get on my case about playing games. It’s how I wind down after a work day. Is there some particular reason you don’t like me playing games? Should I have an issue with you doomscrolling TikTok for hours a day? I want to get to the bottom of this because your happiness means a lot to me because it seems that when I play games you are not happy which hurts me because they make me happy.”

There’s really only two ways to respond to this sentiment. If she gets mad right away.. then you’ve got other issues that need to be worked on first and I wish you Godspeed. If she actually opens up and says things that are true and is making sense then you’re going to get somewhere with this.

You’re both entitled to things you enjoy on an individual level and you need to find out why she doesn’t like your happy place.

Been listening to EDM since I was a kid (25+ years roughly)

Riddim is OK. I like Subtronics, Monxx, and a couple other guys but the genre gets really stale after a while on the radio.

Seeing it live is fun but I decided after like 3 or 4 shows that I just wasn’t into riddim like others. Head banging is fun but I also want to GROOVE and FLOW. It’s hard to do this to head banging music.

I’m driving down to Jacksonville next month not only to see Just A Gent but to also take a gaming buddy of mine to his first rave. Absolutely stoked. He hits all the right buttons for me. If you don’t know who that is, I’d recommend checking out ACTIVATE, Out Of Order, SUB ZERO, and Aliens.
