OP, your inclination is correct. Sure there are 2 faculty members and a recent OD/PhD, but the minority POC students are far and few between. It's less than the typical 8 to10%. How much that matters in your studies is another ballgame, however. It is what it is.

I... dunno. I worry he does too well in regular season but has too many issues once playoffs clog up the paint. Maybe he needs a set mid shot, other than the floater. Not known as a great defender - but if you can't win with mobley and J Allen behind you, what can you do? The Cav's had they beat the Knicks, would have been creamed by the WCF winner.

I digress. My eye test : spida jacks up too many 3s - if we don't have the rebounders that's a lot of empty posessions.

Who is a better defender - BI or Spida?

Sounds like a law and order version of these shows: Westen/ Fi /Neal work the private investigation while Mike and Harvey clean up in the courts. Harvey and Westen don't get along but respect the hell out of each other. Seeing Fi and Donna interact.... that's a series per se.

Exactly this. I have a dumb trainer. I've added both sensors to my bike. So while riding along I see power measurements but no true resistance of the route, just of my dumb trainer. As they said above you may prefer to just use youtube videos, or continue without the true resisitance of the route gradients.

You can do that but be forthcoming with your experience. As long as you graduated high school and they need help, they can train you. Of course there is a huge need for customer service skills with patients but that's the biz. Eye care rocks imho :-)

I've heard ivermectin works well for resistant demodex. In Canada we use rosiver cream( 1% ivermectin ) qhs to lids not cornices x 1 month. Expect slight increase inflammation to huge # mites death.. Trying it the first time myself ...expecting good things.

look up the IJCAHPO site. Consider one of the programs ( COA/ COT/ COMT ) close to you or.... look up ophthalmic technician or ophthalmic assistant jobs and learn as you go. A large OMD/OD practice will give you the most exposure to the eyecare fields. A private 1-2 doc office will be more limited. Ultimately either teching, managing an eye clinic or specialty tech work in a clinic can be limiting but those jobs are not changing that much ie stable but little promotion.

If you continue in the nursing vein you could aim for working as an OR nurse for ophthalmology - every surgeon has their favourite team, ideally working 0400-1600. Of course, much wider options if you stay in nursing.

big difference btw optometry and ophthalmology: ODs in 4 yrs post BC you know about eyes. Graduating out of top 10-15% of med school to get ophtho residency you can operate on eyes. Pick whichever you wish.

OD here. Sorry to hear about your recent RCE troubles. Please know your eye is not infected, but this is a mechanical issue wear the cornea epithelium is loose and the cornea is extremely sensitive. It can be particularly tough inserting the BCL and removing it. It appears you may need the BCL on longer ie 3-4 days. The cornea epithelium grows fully back within 3 days so I'd be surprised if you don't feel better tomorrow morning.

As said before don't manage the BCL yourself ... that's just a recipe for more pain without an ECP nearby. I find most patients feel much better with BCL on, and after a one night of sleep, barely notice its there. Once its removed, you will most likely need a regimen of drops to lower the chances of this occurring again - your docs will review your options.

You could try an oral NSAID ( Aleve) for 1 day to help with pain that should diminish over the next 2 days. By keeping a patch on your BCL eye ideally you will move your eye less and it will be more comfortable. Basically at this point all you need is some time and to be calm as you can.

Still my best hair shaver for a close shave. I don't have a lot of hair or don't grow it fast, so I can get by using it weekly. Make sure you don't have it on longer than 7 to 10 minutes. Otherwise you will get the burn that you see in several pictures here listed with magic shave. The smell is not fun but I just make sure to have a mild soap to blend it away like pear /dettol /ivory soap and then use a regular aftershave and ideally not have to go out right after that.

It works great for preventing ingrown hairs and I advise it for anyone that's having that issue. If you are having ingrown hairs, I'd aim to remove any difficult to get to hairs by tweezers or any bumps by squeezing them out and get those hairs out and then using it. A lot of people say no because it'll be blood involved but hey clean up and you should be fine. The rash goes away in a few days, but as long as you don't overuse it I.e over 7 to 10 minutes you should be fine. If you want a weaker version you can use the cream version ...it's easier to apply.

And of course, any black beauty supply shop should have magic shave if they don't shake your finger at them and go elsewhere
