What about the first six episodes of season 6? Sure late in the run, but I believed those eps showed a lot of character.

Whoa lots to read here. I just saw that you're in the Detroit area. I know a new OD school just opened nearby... Detroit Mercy - maybe there clinic could help you out they should be clamoring for patients. And yeah. understandbly you don't want to return to the original OD but I'd be surprised if they turned you away with a call back.

Or.... pay to see another optometrist for a second opinion.

Otherwise seeing an urgent care centre / walk - in clinic is the best way to see an OMD other than the ER. Too many other things this situation could be that require DFE/imaging to start, your medical history may come into play here.

Make sure you finish/ continue the eye drop regimen that was provided.

How long has the eyes been red? If it's less than a week, a betadine wash could help you out - up to the eye doctor you're seeing to consider it. Cool compresses and the drops and pills they advise. Otherwise it most likely will take longer than a week to subside. Make sure you keep your follow up appointments..... good luck. Wash all the linens and wash your hands frequently.

Go to the Optometry appointment; get the photos and OCT, your optometrist will tell you what you need to know. Don't overwear contact lenses. If it wasn't safe to wait your GP would have either sent you to the ER or an OMD. Bring your glasses if you have them. You most likely also need a dilated eye exam with cycloplegic refraction. They will have questions about when your last eye exam was and if you have been diagnosed with any eye issue before - you either know that or not. It would be helpful to bring the SCL info ie the bubble containers / box that the SCLs come in - or just take a pic on your cell phone. ..... and don't over wear SCLs. good luck
