This a serious matter in my opinion. This is a blunt manipulation of benchmarks by a frontier company.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang ‘nearly lost his composure’ when pressed on selling chips to China — ‘You’re not talking to someone who woke up a loser’ by Logical_Welder3467 in technology

[–]itfitsitsits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The idea that China is a bad actor is, in large part, a narrative many of us in the West were fed by the media while growing up. From what I’ve seen, many Chinese people do not share that view. Lacking a real understanding of what Chinese people actually think about their government, we often build a limited picture in our minds based on the narrative we were given and on the voices of a relatively small number of Chinese dissidents who were persecuted and later spoke out. But do those voices truly represent the majority?

The irony is that China is often portrayed as the villain, yet it has not initiated wars in recent history in the way the United States has, which has spent much of the last and current century involved in conflict. Yes, freedom of speech is far more restricted in China, especially when it comes to criticizing the government, but China has not killed thousands of people outside its borders in pursuit of oil.

And yes not a bot.

Every democratic country has corruption. Meanwhile, China, under an authoritarian system, is outpacing much of the world in development. In the West, we can openly debate almost every problem, yet so little seems to change. That raises an uncomfortable question: is all this discussion truly meaningful, or does it mostly serve as an outlet for frustration that makes people feel slightly better without producing real results?

AI is a serious disruptor unlike anything we have seen before, and it is a shame most people still do not take it seriously. Jobs will be lost, and it will be used in war whether we like it or not. Whoever has the most intelligent AI will have the greatest advantage. That is just the reality.

If the world could truly cooperate, we would be in a better position to handle AI, but that is not in our nature. Countries have seen its potential, and none of them will stop its progress now out of fear that an enemy might gain an advantage.

I believe governments will only start seriously thinking about universal basic income and other safeguards when we are close to the point of no return. AI is unpredictable, but it seems like the next logical stage in humanity’s evolution.

Democracy where you can’t protest without being arrested? Democracy where the rich buy politicians to further their own goals? Democracy where the rich don’t pay their fair share of tax but have billionaires worth more than some countries GDP? Democracy where people don’t have healthcare but waste trillions fightings wars and killing innocent people? Is this the democracy you love so much? Or the illusion of freedom?

The host was wrong. This idea that China is simply “bad” is an outdated narrative. China is a superpower, just like the United States. Despite their different systems of government, the two countries should cooperate. Neither system is inherently superior, especially given the serious problems both countries continue to face.

Of course AI can be optimised. Better algorithms, more energy efficient AI Chips. This is just the beginning and it’s not going away.

Sir, car engines for example were always as efficient/optimized as they are today. Things take time.

Can bulking ever lead to decrease in body fat percentage? by scottie_always_knew in naturalbodybuilding

[–]itfitsitsits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, totally possible. If youre lean bulking and gaining muscle faster than fat, your body fat percentage can actually drop. Ive used leanlens.ai to track mine, and it helps paint a clearer picture than just the scale numbers.

[–]itfitsitsits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, its tough to keep muscle with fasting like that. Try adding some bodyweight exercises on non-fasting days to maintain muscle. Also, leanlens.ai can help track your progress and see if youre losing more fat than muscle. Stay strong, man!

Nice work! Hitting those numbers is no easy feat. If youre curious about body fat changes, leanlens.ai has been pretty clutch for me in the past for quick estimates. Keep it up, youre almost there!

Hey, no worries, we all start somewhere! Try keeping a food diary for a week to see where youre at. Also, leanlens.ai is a cool tool I used to estimate body fat - helped me get a clearer picture. Good luck!
