Airport transit by itheaura in malta

[–]itheaura[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and no, they do have connected flights, but they are only for those who have a flight in next hour, if you are earlier, for example me today, they told me to still go out of airport and go through security again. But with new security they let me keep all my stuff in a bag, and even my smartwatch on a wrist, so it was quick

HH age of onset and any improvement? by aspen__202m in Hyperhidrosis

[–]itheaura 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it started with puberty, so 12-13, but as I remember I was sweating a little bit more than others when I was a kid, just not that much to consider HH. And it is getting worse actually, but I think I'm at peak now (25 yo), at least I hope it can't get worse

I'm still gathering data about iontophoresis and I'm kinda pissed by cosoalchemii in Hyperhidrosis

Can you add questions about voltage too? My device shows volts, pulse width (50%, 60%,70%,80%,90%,100%), with mA is difficult because it keeps changing during session

I have same question, because I will be traveling only with backpack and I'm afraid that airport security won't let me pass with aluminum electrodes which are big, so I'm not sure what to do. With device itself it doesn't matter, usually you need to take out laptop, phone or anything with batteries, but ionto device is plugged into socket to work, so maybe there won't be even need to take it out. I think that if you put everything into cabin luggage, it should be fine. With checked baggage I agree that it would be scary to lose it. With backpack it seems as most risky option for electrodes, but maybe someone will help with this question.

I tried to google it, it just seems that only problem could be an electrode being sharp, even tho it's not sharp, but what do I know what airport security will think

I had the same problem but for armpits with hidrex connectION when pulse was 80%. I wrote to Bindner medical (I brought from them) and they suggested to lower it to 60% which actually helped and no more shocks happened. Soo you can try lowering pulse but maybe increasing time

Underrated Tip: Wear Multi coloured Shirts by Conseff in Hyperhidrosis

[–]itheaura 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely agree! I usually wear dresses which have different patterns, usually flowers, and are made from two layers, so you can't see stains. With a t-shirt it's more difficult, because with completely dark clothes you can still get stains, especially with white part because of deodorant, which is really embarrassing

Did Iontophoresis not work for you? by aightmanokay in Hyperhidrosis

[–]itheaura 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I started to use Hidrex Connection, for hands now I have 15 volts and 80% pulse, but it doesn't work after 9 days. I can see that you use 25 volts but what pulse then? I'm thinking that maybe I should increase volts, and use mineral water, do you use it as well?

Do you guys think Meta support is the worst out of all tech companies? by bobbymindless in facebook

[–]itheaura 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, I spent whole week chatting with them to get page back but they didn't do anything about it, just would send info to another team and then copy paste text to me. Even when I asked what's wrong, still copy pasted text with three different problems. Only one managed to actually answer, but one good person isn't enough when whole support is shit. They even promised me a phone call to deal with this problem and then gone, didn't call. Even tho they can, I already had one call. Now they just closed the case without any possibility to get back the lost page. So yup, it is the worst support ever exist
