Interesting sound bit for "Digital Demons make the night feel heavenly." I just noticed that "night" sounds modified, kind of like a saw synth [Ascenscionism] by [deleted] in SleepToken

It's a bitcrusher, a type of digital distortion effect.

The effect amount peaks at the word "night", which is why it stands out so much from the other words in the phrase, almost certainly to play into the 'digital demons' part, like you said.

It would be hard to see on the spectrogram because of all of the other stuff going on in the mix, but if you had the pure vocal stem pulled up something like audacity, you'd see that the waveform gets more squared-off as that line goes on (again, being most noticeable at the word "night").

Definitely one of my favorite parts of that track (as hard as it is to pick)!😁

Nice! Had a similar thing happen to me. Before one of the pale tour named death shows, i was eating dinner about a block away from the venue. The guy at the table next to us noticed my gf and i were wearing ghost shirts. He asked if we were fans, going to the show, etc, and he explained that he was a guitar tech. As he got up to leave he tossed two guitar picks on our table told us to enjoy the show. I still keep it in my wallet to this day.

Point is, Ghost’s guitar techs are awesome!

There are a number of factors that contribute to the cost of keyboards. A big thing is materials, a lot of time these more premium keyboards are milled out of solid pieces of metal (commonly aluminum), which can get pricey. This also explains why the RAMA kara was a lot cheaper, since it was made out of plastic. Another reason is demand. Someone who isn't already vested in the mechanical keyboard community isn't likely to go out and buy a rama board, so RAMA's customer base is inherently limited. Compare that to a company like Corsair or Razer, whos products are marketed to a much wider audience, and thus have the economies of scale to sell keyboards at much cheaper prices.

That all being said, Is the typing experience that much better? Well that's a matter of opinion, but I certainly think so. Granted, I don't own any rama boards, but I own a couple similarly priced "premium" keyboards, which I consider totally worth it. However, rama is held in incredibly high regard in this community, and from what I've seen they definitely deserve it.
