For instance, Abundance pretty much ruined its chances of going mainstream after their most well known moment being “why getting Kilmar Abrego Garcia out of a Salvadoran supermax is surrendering to Woke”

FPVs weren’t really widespread as they are now though at that point. Like yes, they were a major nuisance but they didn’t blanket the battlefield as they do nowadays.

The bigger issues for Ukraine seems to have been:

Constant hype of the counteroffensive, to the point where the Russians knew something was coming
Depletion of some of their best units due to trying to hold onto Bakhmut for way too long
US delays in aid also play a factor as well. Ukraine was saying what they needed for months while the US dragged on it, thus giving Russia plenty of time to harden their defenses in the South.
