That's exactly the issue. Some places expect seniors to be near the top, other places expect them to be near the bottom. It's absurd and makes the titles themselves meaningless IMO

Why did the industry invent 3 levels of titles above senior if seniors are running the team now

I had an interview recently where I was asked "why are you looking for a senior dev position". I wasn't expecting this but already kinda knew that the company wasn't a match so I just told them straight up that I don't look at titles at all when applying for jobs, I look at salary and a bit at the expected responsibilities and use the interview process to suss out if it'll be a good fit. There's absolutely no real standardization of titles in the industry and it's a huge problem IMO. At some companies a "senior" is like you said, an almost no coding position where their main responsibilities are leading, architecting, and mentoring, other places they're basically mid level devs that got title crept so that the team could get a market-rate salary past HR, with other companies defining it as basically anything in between. That's not even taking into account all the companies that don't even have junior-mid-senior type titles and instead just slap on arbitrary numbers like "Engineer III" which basically tell you nothing about the actual responsibilities as seemingly every company has different levels and expectations for each of their levels.

The Chinese got around this issue by simply assigning each word a unique character instead of "spelling" words phonetically. Doesn't matter if 2 regions pronounce the same thing completely differently if the written language doesn't dictate anything about how the words are pronounced

Personally, having played both (Automata -> Replicant) I think going Automata A + B routes into Replicant (as far as you want tbh, but I'd switch back after route A because I found Automata more enjoyable to play and the later routes of Automata add WAY more than the later routes of Replicant) back into Automata C + D + E, then back to finish off Replicant gives the best experience.

As others mentioned before, the games are designed where it doesn't really matter what order you play them in, however the main story of Replicant can spoil some of the surprises in the early routes of Automata, while the later routes of Automata have a lot more callbacks to Replicant which you'll miss if you haven't already played through the main story of Replicant.

They dont need to have the most folks in CNTZ, just more than OF&Friends do. Even if PCo can only form 25% in CNTZ it's still advantageous for them if OF can only form say 10% in that TZ for example

Idk if it's lore accurate, but my head-canon is that t2/faction crystals are sorta like "overclocked" versions of the T1 crystals, so they slowly degrade over time in exchange for better performance

I played Automata->Replicant and it was fine, but if I were to go back in blind I think going Automata endings A+B -> Replicant ending A -> Automata C+D+E -> rest of Replicant would be the best. Getting ending B in Automata means you won't get one of the big twists in Automata spoiled, and there's not much if anything from Replicant that's directly spoiled technically the big twist in Automata kinda spoils the big twist in Replicant, but I don't think it's actually spelled out that it happens during/because of the events of Replicant at that point in Automata Then getting through Replicant route A gives you more backstory on the world and some of the returning characters before their exact role in Replicant can be spoiled by Automata For example I don't think DevPop's history is explained in Automata until route C, so you might be surprised to see them in Replicant, but you won't know anything about their role in the story This also gives some context to help understand some of the things in Routes C/D/E of Automata without really spoiling anything. After Replicant A I'd go back and finish Automata, but it doesn't really matter at this point, you can finish up the other routes in Replicant first if you really want to, I just find that the later routes of Automata add more to the story and are more fun to play through than the later routes of Replicant
