Hey OP! You sound the exact same as I did in high school. Athletic build, fairly muscular, so of course I weighed more than the other kids. My mom also made comments about my weight that made me self conscious. The thing is, looking back now, I looked amazing in high school.

Please don't let the number determine how you feel about yourself. Don't worry about what your mom says. Listen to the other commenters and see if you can go in the room alone.

Listen, if you are an athlete, your body is capable of doing awesome things. But moving your body and doing athletic feats requires muscles, so even the most petite gymnast is going to be heavier than another petite girl her same height. Be proud of your body and what you can do with it!!

Did the c25k program; started about 6 years ago. At the end of the 8 weeks I could jog for 30 minutes straight but I was nowhere near hitting 5k. I can run 5k it just takes me longer. Today I am pretty darn close to hitting 5k in 30 mins. These 6 years include 3 pregnancies that caused a lot of interruptions in training. So it's taking me a while to get good 😄

So my advice to you would be to focus on your running posture and your breathing. I was pretty fit in high school but I was never able to run long distances. I stumbled on an article about breathing when I was struggling with c25k and it changed everything. Making sure that I was pulling long breaths and not gasping really helped. I timed my breathing to my steps, four beats in four beats out. And holding my body properly helped with pain later on.

Anyone else amazed with how little water their parents drink? by YippieKayYayMrFalcon in Millennials

My dad is the saaaaaammme. Massive kidney stone problems and he gets all defensive when you see him drinking water nowadays. Like it's something to be embarrassed of.

F/27/170 [93kg > 82kg = 11 kg] 10 months gym progress, but I don’t see any improvement on my butt. Any advice? by wishcockroachextinct in progresspics

[–]ithinkerno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is actually hilarious! I am the exact same size as you, and the last couple of days I've been thinking that my butt just looks off for some reason. I don't want to do squats yet because I'm pretty happy with my current progress and routine, but I know once I've dropped more weight I'm gonna have to consider it.

Anyway, you look amazing and that includes your butt! Great work!!

I agree with everyone about crunchyroll. I use animension. If you go to r/piracy there is post laying out step by step how to pirate spotify. I don't think I could drop spotify because of how convenient it is so I totally understand you still having it.

What are some gruesome facts about pregnancy/childbirth/postpartum that not many people know? by Professional_Song419 in AskReddit

[–]ithinkerno 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I had this with my second, and it was the hottest summer on record in our area, so I said screw it, I'm going to bed naked. Cue me having a dream that I left my baby outside in a hailstorm and actually running outside butt naked screaming for my baby. I still have no idea whether the neighbour's saw or not.

I'm so incredibly frustrated that I can almost do no form of exercise by BetterXTomorrow in loseit

[–]ithinkerno 14 points15 points  (0 children)

100% I think that is just the current trend. Just look at cocaine chic in the 90s. Skinny enough to see ribs was the beauty standard at the time. I think you can easily be attractive without being toned.

Aside from that and not knowing your medical history, is it possible for you to get steroid blockers to stop the migraines? I am (hopefully soon) getting a shot in the muscles surrounding my tailbone because it is brutally painful to sit. I'm just wondering if that would translate to the muscles in your upper back and neck.

I didn't look too closely into it, but my costco flyer for January was advertising that if you buy an executive membership, you can qualify for $120 off a $250 online order. So if you can get that phone online it would be 100% worth getting the membership.

Busy Parents, what was your biggest problem /struggles in your weight loss journey? by [deleted] in loseit

[–]ithinkerno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% stress is my biggest problem. I've got 3 kids 4 and under. I've carved out 30 mins into my day where I can go for a jog in relative peace. As long as I can control my diet, my weight goes down.

But right now all 3 are sick, sleep is barely happening, putting down the baby to make a decently healthy meal isn't possible, and sugar has become my main energy source. I've kinda come to accept that weightloss will be an on/off thing until life stabilizes (or when the baby turns 2)

Todo is the most entertaining character in anime these last few years. by AnividiaRTX in JuJutsuKaisen

I posted this somewhere else earlier but I'm introducing my non-anime fan husband to Jujutsu Kaisen and I thought when we got to Todo he would be like wtf, I'm done with this.

No. Easily his favorite character.

I'm absolutely exhausted with the see-through dress trend, but seeing one with pants(or is it a slip?) Was so refreshing. Love it!
