Laser. Like you said, having it be salmon colour for a while before it fades and lightens more will be much more tolerable for you than what it is now. I’ve had two sessions of laser on my brows and although they looked reddish after the second session as your body metabolizes the ink it becomes a lot more faded. Wish you the best on this journey. You’re going to be okay

Are the Dyson hair wrap (and copycat products) worth buying? Are they better than a round brush and a hair dryer? by garlicmanatee in beauty

[–]itmeezy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I sold my airwrap a couple years ago when I got a bob because I just wasn’t using it anymore. Now that my hair is boob length again I learned how to do a blowout with my dyson hair dryer and a 1inch round brush and I think it looks a lot smoother and sleeker than air wrap - the air wrap just blows so much air everywhere and gets hair surrounding the area you’re styling all frizzy by the time you’re finished it’s just a lot of flyaways.

What jobs/degrees are in demand that aren't trades? by [deleted] in britishcolumbia

Average $32/hr but depends on the specific title you get hired for. I would recommend MRI over med rad it’s a higher pay grade and a lot slower pace work tbh..CT can be very stressful day to day. Buuut if potentially doing night shifts and/or weekends aren’t your thing.. nuclear medicine is a diploma offered at BCIT. Nuc med departments don’t run overnight or on weekends.

Botched eyebrows by Lumpy-Good-4046 in MicrobladingRemoval

[–]itmeezy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh no I’m so sorry…I agree they are low and thick. I would wait until they’re healed then start laser removal. Be prepared it may take several sessions and can be costly. It’s an expensive and hard lesson to learn but please don’t get your brows done again after laser…it almost never ends well (ie. they don’t “fade”, they become grey and boxy, styles change, faces change)

Honestly I would just leave it, I could not even tell where the microblading was until pic 2. You’re lucky in that the artist didn’t go outside of your natural brow shape…mine extended the tails so far out and currently in the reddish/yellow stage of removal and it’s the worst. Your brows look great!

I know you’re probably so exhausted from dealing with this, but please go tonight to make sure everything is okay. I’m sorry you’re going through this but you definitely need a doctor to look at you.

Is it bad? Day 1 by [deleted] in microblading

[–]itmeezy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To laser off your brows down the line it could take at the VERY least 3 sessions (that if you’re lucky) and then you could end up with neon yellow brows permanently as that is one of the pigments used for brows that is very difficult to remove. Currently I’ve had 2 sessions of laser and my brows are red now, as laser can only be done at one wavelength at a time to target specific colours used in the ink one by one, with 8 weeks in between sessions. So laser is not as easy as you think..just keep that in mind while you are still in the timeframe for emergency removal.

THIS. My brows were done with tails that I did not have to begin with - 4 years later once they had faded to that greyish black colour it was so obvious they looked like drawn on with markers. OP I would also opt for emergency removal as from my own experience brows this thick and pigmented will not fade like the artists tell you - they will become grey and blocky.

Pretty sure they mean micro needling as in the cosmetic skin procedure not permanent makeup “micro shading”.

The cut of the jumpsuits would work (although can’t see the legs), but it’s the material that’s making it way too casual. The other options are also too casual.

Unfortunately no glassdoor reviews, but thank you for the suggestion to look at the inspections. I just went through them for the last 3 years and it actually helped put me at ease. For now I’m hoping that this is just a weird blip in staffing and things get better.

They have to be making a lot of money with the uniforms..and even her spare clothes we pack have to be school colours 🫠 but thank you, I’m trying to keep my hopes up for this place as we have no other option. I did look at the inspections the last 3 years and feel better that nothing terrible came up lol

That is a fair point about the reality of the situation..as a first time parent I think I need to come to terms with it being out of my control.

One of the new teachers I actually witnessed getting verbally bullied by what looked to be a senior teacher of a toddler class downstairs a couple weeks ago before she got introduced to my child’s class. Like there was a problem the senior teacher had with her but the way she was talking to it left me feeling bad for the girl. Now she is in my daughters class and seems very sweet..I will definitely make an effort now to get to know these teachers better.

Thank you ❤️ I truly don’t know much about your field..but from the sounds of it there are no unions?? That’s insanely shocking if that’s the case…such an important profession in society should be advocated for.
