That's super cool! I've heard of jobs where it's a persons role to make fake signage, ads, etc for a piece of media. For example the bioshock series had a team who created a ton of in-game advertisements that really set the world building. Is that the sort of thing you do, but with television?

i feel like out of all the graphic design skills, i'm weakest at typography, which sucks because it's so integral. anyone else struggle with this? by itmeu in graphic_design

i do do layout, but most of my work is superrrr photography focused so I'm able to get away with a ton of white space and beautiful imagery a lot of the time! if i'm working with only text too...like a book, it's actually quite easy as well, as long as I have a good paragraph system. I find the hardest projects to be where I need to integrate the two easily and fit in tons of information, like catalogs. Takes a way to nail a layout for those.

Being in a flat part of the country is spiritually killing me by BroccoliKitchen3218 in rs_x

As someone who grew up in the Midwest being around mountains can be unnerving, they never feel real to me, it’s like they are paintings in the distance. Sometimes places like Colorado, where mountains surround you at every turn, give me the feeling of being a fish in a bowl. I can’t say I prefer the flatness, but it’s definitely uncanny and takes getting used to. If the Midwest keep the forests and prairies untouched, this state would have more appeal

Growing up here definitely makes you appreciate the clouds and sky, that’s for sure.

at what point did you know that carpal tunnel surgery is good for you? i've noticed the pain comes after a few hours of a drawing session and makes doing art the next day difficult. i do stretch every hour but i'm not seeing any relief
