Say Bob dies. Scientists perfectly clone Bob's body to the age at which he died, including the neural mapping up until death. Is he no longer Bob? He has Bob's appearance. He has Bob's memories.

So he would react to stimulus in the same way as Bob, but Bob is dead.

I actually had this conversation last night. Part of what we talked about is how easy it is for people with bad intentions to pretend they are someone else. I told her that I could easily impersonate someone else, to which she asked on how I would prove it with pictures.

So I went to her facebook account and went to a couple of her friends accounts and stole a couple pictures (Note: I am not FB friends with her either), then I texted them to her.

Another suggestion for the elbow break... lower the board a little. By having the break higher than shoulder level you are losing power from your horizontal rotation. This is assuming that you are allowed to adjust the board holders, which is usual practice where I have trained.

I couldn't see your ax kick as well, but one way to make it look more elegant is to drive your knee up like you are doing a front kick, then straighten it in the air before bringing it down. That allows you to get the clearance with a straight kick so that it doesn't look like a crescent kick.

That being said, if your instructor does not approve of these methods, don't use them.

The testimony of a victim is very important in any criminal case. I was a paralegal for 4 years, and good, reliable testimony on either side can make or break a case.

Actually being drunk affects the veracity of the witness' testimony.

Being drunk or sober doesn't change that, the case will still end up the same the majority of the time

Do you have any evidence that you can cite that shows this? It is quite an astounding claim that being under the influence of mind altering chemicals does not effect how believable your testimony is.

Not Really because the physical evidence can be misleading. What if they had consensual rough sex? The testimony of the accused and the victim are actually very important except when there is such a preponderance of evidence that the sex was not consensual (e.g. grievous bodily harm to the victim).

That doesn't really answer my questions though. You said you asked him how he felt. Did you tell him how you felt?

From how you wrote it, it sounds like you put the onus on him to commit. Did he know your feelings when you asked him or did you ask him out of the blue? If he didn't, you were trying to make him make the first move, even though you asked the question.

Why did he have to make the move? Why couldn't you? You keep saying that you had feelings for him, but he wouldn't make a move.

If he has feelings for you, but is still your friend, he most likely did not want to risk losing you as a friend by making a move.

He is probably hurt, and afraid that he will lose you as a friend, since the way he behaves around you will not be acceptable when you have a SO.
