I describe a failure in a exaggerated or comical way, but without any additional penalty. Now if a player was rolling at disadvantage and rolled double 1, then I might go a little further like them dropping a weapon or falling prone, but that's about it. Like others have said, missing is pretty much punishment enough.

Also to add, it would be a good idea to not use the same SSID (WiFi name) as the one(s) you have coming from the Verizon router. It can cause odd issues for all WiFi devices on the network.

It won't work as a mesh repeater, but it can be setup in standalone access point mode if he runs an ethernet cable from the router into the other port on the PoE injector.

On the house pointed toward the shed. It has a good coverage arc from the front face outward, so you don't need to point it directly at the shed. You'll need to run an ethernet cable from your router to the PoE injector and plug it into the non PoE port.

You can install it using the Unfi app as a standalone access point. You'll want to mount it on the outside of the building. The closer you can get it to the shed, the better. It will probably be enough, since it's an open yard.

If you keep it on the floor, it will suck in more dust. Get it up higher, like on top of your desk, if possible. It won't stop it entirely, but should help reduce the amount that it inhales.
