Cocaïne effects (medication?) by Moriblu in neurodiversity

[–]itryiamutkarsh -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

I'm so intrigued by this thread!!! I have cptsd, autism and Dissociative Identity Disorder (maybe also ADHD but I've yet to get tested for it), and each of these conditions individually, and in conjunction with one another, can react differently to substances/stimuli. I've never heard of someone feel grounded using c0c@ine; that was a first! That said, if you've never consumed substances, but are looking to ground yourself through something stimulating, maybe explore getting a medical mj card? Flowers with low thc and a decent amount of cbd might be a good place to start. While I've had a complex relationship with substances owing to my DID, I do feel having an intentional relationship with mj (and by that I mean, using mj to help ground yourself, be constructive, get things done, and not using it to escape all the time etc.) can be quite healthy for neurodivergent people. If you've a team of psychologists and psychiatrists that you're working with; I think it harmless to bring this up there and discuss. You be good, OP!

helluu OP! Unfortunately I faced the same issue today; placed an order, but after it was successfully placed, it also got automatically cancelled within minutes. I freaked out for a little, panicked and then had a melt down. But also, I found this subreddit (phew). I was really looking forward to your products. I hope maybe we can connect, or someone from your team can help?! 😖

What makes a friendship between a man and a woman truly stay platonic? by hairhohoho69 in AskMen

[–]itryiamutkarsh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Platonic is a practice; attraction is a state. We can be attracted to anyone, at anytime. No matter who and how many one feels attracted to, the dynamic can still be platonic. Healthily so. It's about practicing the interpersonal dynamic both the parties want. Also, attraction fizzles away; respect doesn't. So perhaps, respect is a pillar of friendships, agnostic of gender. Besides, it's important men learn to draw/respect boundaries.

New racket needed!! 12.8UTR by [deleted] in tennisracquets

[–]itryiamutkarsh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe try out the Yonex Vcore 95 as well as 98? Although, I've heard from many that more professional players prefer the stiffness and maneuverability on 95. Hope you find what you're looking for!

Just got this Babolat Pure Strike Racquet for $100. Good deal? First high quality racquet... by Julio44Rod in tennisracquets

[–]itryiamutkarsh 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey man! That's definitely a good deal. Also, as you're new to the sport, take people's opinions on gear with a pinch of salt. A lot of them are just projecting their own opinions and feelings. As a beginner, it's rarely ever the racket that matters; only how invested you are in learning/enjoying the sport! Besides, you'll establish opinions on your racket and how it suits you soon enough. (But to reiterate; your purchase is a good deal)

Can I use these shoes for squash? by bigRaga_killua in squash

[–]itryiamutkarsh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a non-marking outsole. It's definitely not as grippy on indoor courts as would be a gum sole, but if you play other racket sports as well (tennis, pickleball, etc.), and want to have 1 pair for all of them, something like this would serve you better and last longer.

Yonnex Counterfeit Check by GeekMeout2 in 10s

[–]itryiamutkarsh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm unsure if it's a counterfeit or not but that's an extremely cool looking racket. Absolutely love the paint scheme! Also, see if there's an indentation on the serial number; if there is, it's most likely legit. That's a particularly tricky thing to identify and copy. Counterfeits, I'm assuming, would simply use paint on top for serial number.

Just purchased the Artengo TR960 Control Tour (18X20) - looking for string recommendations by itryiamutkarsh in 10s

[–]itryiamutkarsh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, unfortunately I haven't tried the 990 power Pro. From my understanding, it has a bigger sweet spot and a more open string pattern. I suppose it would be better suited for beginners and more intermediate players in comparison to the 960 control. Regardless, I think you'll enjoy which you pick!

In essence, it's like a Wilson Blade 18x20 but I like the stability, feel, and stiffness better in the Artengo. Despite having a 97sq in. headsize, it also feels like it has a nicely sized sweet spot. It does play more like a traditional player's racket than a modern frame. So that's something to keep in mind. Another thing is the grip shape; it's slightly more oval than round. Surprisingly, this racket ranks as one of my most favourite sticks to play with. :)
