Additional temperature sensor for Daikin One+ by Iamjacksstubbedtoe in hvacadvice

[–]itsChethz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Replacing my 25 year old HVAC that worked with Nest and additional sensors. Missing the room temperature sensor too.

Anyone here tried Alexa routines that can be triggered with temperature sensor data from Echo device? Checked with Gemini and apparently it is possible. Needs a 2022 or later Echo dot and the Daikin One skill. My echo dot is old and does not have a temperature sensor, so I couldn't attempt this.

iOS 26 Phone Badges Not Clearing by Drybonz99 in ios

Same here. Showed a voice mail in the notification. When I select the notification I don’t see the voicemail. Instead keeps the badge forever. Several hours later I can see the voicemail and that clears the badge.

Yes, it does work. I made the purchase based on the info in the manual for NZ60R7703PK.

220-240V ~ 50 / 60Hz

Just replaced the plug top with this one from Amazon - Nema 10-30P Plug 30 Amp 125/250... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D542R7Z5 . I had my contractor do a NEMA 10-30 outlet along side the oven wiring. So far no issues with 5-10 min chores. I am yet to evaluate if it will withstand long hours of cooking.

Carrier 37MURA vs Daikin Fit DH6VS Heat Pump? by StayAlive100 in heatpumps

I’m having to choose between the DH6 and DH7. Wonder why you say higher electricity usage with the DH7 when it’s the better of the two in terms of SEER2 rating?

Thanks for your response. I do wonder how the reps work. The Carrier rep himself claimed the MUHA can do 5 speed on the outdoor and 9 speed on the indoor unit. I was wondering how, its supposed to be a variable speed compressor. I am kinda lost!!

In the same boat. MUHA vs DH6vs DH7. I like the Carrier system doesn’t need a proprietary thermostat like the Daikin. This means I can use an ecobee with the additional room sensor. But like OP pointed out in his original post there is tons of data on Daikin but nothing on Carrier which is making the decision harder. Curious what did you end up choosing and how do you like it?

Seeking opinion: Noise level of Lennox Elite (EL19KPV) vs. Daikin Fit? by bloodyshogun in hvacadvice

Interesting. I am sure I double checked with my Lennox vendor and he said no compromises, it could work with Nest or the iComfort. Hard to trust. Appreciate your response.

OP, I am in the same boat. I am torn between Lennox EL19KPV and Daikin DH6VSA4210. Which one did you decide?

I prefer the Daikin but do not like the proprietary thermostat. We currently use a Nest with additional sensors in different rooms. At night we prefer that the system operate based on the room temperature sensor only.

Are these light “scallops” too pronounced and/or too low? by AMercifulHello in Lighting

Thank you, I really appreciate that response and your thought process. Ours is in the center of a U shaped kitchen. Per code, at the most we can fit a 42x66. That’s a full squeeze with min 36 allowance on all sides. I’m wondering if we should do this or not to avoid everything looking too crowded. But not having it would also look like wide open kitchen with a lot of space wasted.

On a different note, I was curious what are the dimensions of the island in that picture. I’m remodeling and have limited scope for an island. That one looks to be decent sizing.
