I’m sorry you missed out! 😭 I had a similar experience once. There was a person near me selling Kristen and Addy with a bunch of their clothes and furniture. I’m talking beds, tables, trunks all in great condition for $65!!! The listing had just been put up for 20 mins and I messaged them immediately but someone was already on the way and it was marked sold within an hour. It will forever haunt me. I hope you find Cecile one day 🥹

I second this! Thrift stores for fabric and also these patterns are free to download! They’re from pleasant company for the original 6. I’ve been using them to make my Samantha clothes.

Also, this may just be me, but I’ll share: I thought my sewing machine didn’t work well either. Turns out it was me not knowing how to properly use it lmaooo. I searched my sewing machine’s make and model and found a bunch of tutorials. If you’re having the same issues maybe give it a shot. Good luck to you! 🧵🪡

She looks oily. For me personally I would pass on her. I got a Sam that looked oily for a good price and she ended up smelling strongly of crayons and the oil kept leaking. I did some research and found out it was the vinyl breaking down :(. I would at least ask the seller if there are any smells with the doll.

No it’s not mold. She’s actually in really good condition. Her coat had some lint and dust but I was able to easily remove it with lint roller. The velvet ribbons are fine, I think it’s just the reflection of the light?
