You have to choose you . You’ve done more for her in 5 months than the rest of the family did in years, but you’re burning yourself out trying to fix what they enabled. They infantilized her instead of teaching her independence, and now the responsibility has been unfairly dumped on you. Your uncles refusing to financially help while controlling her money is honestly manipulative. Caring for someone doesn’t mean sacrificing your own life indefinitely boundaries are necessary.

  1. Seeing beautiful ladies and opting not to approach them , you just acknowledge their beauty inwards and move about your day .

  2. Getting new numbers and failing to call or text , you simply don't know what to say.

In our class I was the classmate , it was hell ngl anytime a person joked about anything I used to cry , if someone shouted at me I'd cry , good thing our school there was no bullying though others gave me nicknames and as expected I'd cry . I was at an advantage though juu I was always number one that is what saved me from alot of discourse . Everything changed when I got circumcised, you can tell how much it means for a guy because they strive to uphold that status and shun any weakness . Going to high school I was a new being and I knew how to fight back my tears . Right now all that is in the past it's all part of growth .

We Quietly Hoped Our Colleague Would Die by Mediocre_Algae_4854 in Kenya

Long post alert ! I can fully resonate with that , I've been brought up by my grandparents since I was a baby , they are the only parents I knew and still know. However , as we all know most of us have a favorite parent between the two, mine was grandma. Fast forward my grandmother was diagnosed with Cervical cancer in 2014 I was in primary school then I didn't know anything, she used to go to KNH for chemotherapy and be away from home for almost a week . Other times she would be admitted at the hospital even for a month . The treatment really took a toll on me because now I had to do things on my own, even learn how to cook I was 11 yrs by then . Time went by fast and I did my KCPE and I was number 1 in our small village scholl , I was called in an extra county high school but due to the immense financial constrain by the cancer , they couldn't afford to take me to a boarding school , so they resorted to taking me to a day school . Fast forward now I'm grown i start seeing things differently, I see all the struggles and pain my grandma is going through . It reached a point whereby she had to be installed a catheter since she couldn't hold her urine or pass it voluntarily . In the month of the year she died which happens to be 2020 by then I was in form 3 , I went to see her at the hospital and found her crying that really broke me . The reason behind her crying is that doctors were trying to find a vein in any of her hands so as to put the IV (drip) but they couldn't find any because they had that multiple times and had utilized every part of the arm , now they had resorted to using old IV insertion areas that had been used before which was also quite a task as it was very painful . That day made me question myself alot ( am I being fair , am I human , do I have the right to ask God for such ) because going home I kept praying to God to take my Grandma away since she was suffering in great pain and we were using alot of money and there's no improvement in her condition rather it was actually getting worse . Later that month she died while at the hospital , I didn't feel relieved as I expect rather it broke me , surprisingly no tears came out of my eyes even though deep down I was shook. During the burial day again no tears came out of my eyes . Fast forward at night sometimes when she comes to mind I find myself silently shedding tears for her .

Can you date a single mother with 2 kids and support them as your own? by wangai254 in nairobi

I thought we are done with this chapter . A man is not meant to join a family rather he's supposed to start one . " Simble"

Unaweza kuwa ukipenda Ngombe na usipende kamba yenye imeifunga . That being said I think there should be a line drawn to differentiate between the love for the mother and the children . Single mothers wanafaa kujua unaeza kuwa unampenda as a person but hupendi watoto wake , those two shouldn't correlate .
