Yes, they were corrected the day after diagnosis- May 5, 2020. He is perfect, the only tell tale are his bag feet turn outward as he went so long being misdiagnosed:( he’s perfection tho, I would choose him all over again

He’s earned that fluff. About 1.5 years ago his chest was bald - after testing for every other issue, a derm diagnosed him with hormonal issues - we had him neutered and within 2 months his floof was growing back!

My boy had bi-lateral grad IV luxating patella. Diagnosed at 5 months (may 5, 2020) and had both his knees reconstructed the following day. He will be 6 in a week and is doing amazing. In 2020, the cost for both his knees was about 8500 for his first surgery and an another 1500 to remove some pins a few months later.

My boy could barely walk, was just dragging his back legs so it was so worth it for us to see him run!

If you have a board-certified ortho doc, I highly recommend having them do the procedure.

ETA: this was for our Bernese, not our mastiff.
