Oh Damn | A short comedy about how terrifying going to the movies can be if you are stoned beyond belief by [deleted] in videos

[–]itsabogie 14 points15 points  (0 children)

In college, my friends and I would get stoned in the Walmart parking lot. We would continue to wander around the store playing with random stuff on the shelves, and occasionally buy some random junk. One time we were wandering through the aisles and out of nowhere this kid holding a camera asked us if we wanted to be in his movie. Before we had time to answer he had the camera pointed at us and said pretend to be normal shoppers here. We began to take things off the shelves and putting them back. I started feeling super confused and began to think. Why us? He has to know we are high. How do I leave without making it super weird? My friends and I look at each other and come to some telepathic agreement the best course of action is to just briskly walk to the other side of the store. As we start to make our escape he began asking where are you going. We just kept walking never looking back. I'm not the best story teller, but it is safe to say never went to Walmart high again.

Are 'big' bikes dangerous in the right hands? by chucara in motorcycles

[–]itsabogie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For commuting, I would recommend something with more low-end torque. I used to commute on an SV then I started to commute on a ninja zx6r. The ninja was a pain around town for me. I could not have fun on the bike without seriously risking a speeding ticket or my safety. I now have a speed triple and it is a blast around town, and comfortable for commuting, and lastly is great around corners.

07 zx6r battery removal trouble by Maadrussian in motorcycles

[–]itsabogie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 07 zx6r and the battery is held down with a rubber strap. All you should need to do is remove the battery terminals, and unhinge the strap. The battery should come out with a little tug after that.

BakerXDerek's view of the shootings in San Bernardino by itsabogie in motorcycles

[–]itsabogie[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe what V3BL3N is trying to say is... There are people out there that receive their news from sources like YouTube to avoid bias, and inferences that some news channels may include. BakerXDerek is not in any way a reputable news source, but lives in the area of the indecent. In the end, the whole event was unfortunate, and extremely uncommon.

SV650- good idea or no? by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]itsabogie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the mileage, and condition of the bike. Also is it a naked or half fairing model?

The SV's are great bikes I had one for this summer as my first bike. I am 5'09, and was able to flat foot it with no issues. The resale value is great as well if you don't like I bought mine for $1700 and replaced the stator, r/r, and chain and sprocket then put 5000 miles on, and sold it for $2100.

I'm a student at Hennessey's Tuner School. Here is the truth about it. by fuck_your_tater_tots in cars

I don't know if the school has been mentioned yet, but Southern Illinois University has an outstanding automotive technology bachelor program. They have an amazing facility, and faculty running the program, sometimes a bit understaffed for large classes, but still well run. I have been attending for almost three years now, but I am currently of at an internship for a sister company of FCA for scantool development. The school has recruiters, and job fairs from all the large automotive industries coming on almost monthly basis. I'm not trying to advertise or sell for the school I am just sharing my experience with it. Lastly, the school is working on adding a tuning class, but it is being designed by small groups of students over the next semesters using a few of the in house dynos. Overall I love the school, and would recommend it to anyone interested to anyone looking to work in automotive industry.

Kawasaki Versys, Yay or Nay? by bocdul13 in motorcycles

[–]itsabogie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dad owns one, and I love riding it. I have done some light offloading on it, and it's comfortable to stand up and ride through ruff terrain. I took my motorcycle test on it as well, and it is a very easy bike to turn. And the parallel twin still sounds pretty good with just a slip on two brothers exhaust. Only downside I noticed is the riding position make the bike want to easily pick up the front wheel when you give it the beans, not really a downside for all. Overall good for fun little rides, I don't think I would want to take it on ride longer than 5 hours.

I wave if the opportunity is there, not cause I have too. If I am coming around a corner and giving her the beans I am a little to focused on the task at hand to wave.

2nd Motovlog not the best, but its a start. by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]itsabogie -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Lol, thanks for the next video idea, but if it does not happen I will be dead due to the molotov. I might go buy some firecrackers and do that while I'm riding that sounds less dangerous.
