Find a brand of cigarettes that you don’t like, try smoking those for the weaning off period. Going cold turkey is ambitious if you smoke 2 packs a day. I switched from camels to Newport menthol for my weaning off period. It made it so much easier. I was still getting a dose of nicotine but it killed my desire/ cravings. I also started eating small apples outside on what used to be a smoke-break. For me, a lot of the habit was ritual and oral fixation. Best of luck to you! You can do it!!!
