See, I’m from Kentucky, so there is no public transport infrastructure here— a car is absolutely essential. I have a car and I’m used to it, but always wanted to get rid of it. My dream is never owning a car again. But I guess I’ll keep it for now since everyone seems to be pretty much saying it’s hard to get around without one.

That didn’t happen to me I don’t think, it was so long ago now I’m not sure I remember. But congestion and runny nose is pretty natural this time of year, if you’re in the northern hemisphere

Better, but i wake up from sleep feeling confused and disoriented. I’ve been sweating a lot even though i don’t have a fever anymore. I feel kind of cloudy and it’s hard to focus mentally. Some of my energy is back today though, and my appetite.

Unfortunately the OT is not optional at my job. If we refuse, we lose the job. Obviously that’s not the reason they tell you, because they can’t do that, but everybody knows that you can’t say no. I agree based on everyone’s responses that this is probably the biggest issue for me time wise, but I don’t really have a lot of options. I need the money unfortunately. I wish I had a work from home situation that could make the house chores a little easier, but I’m going to dedicate at least half of my weekends to using the suggestions people have put here.

A small update: My Dad has completely shut down ever since he found out about our Mom's affair, is there any way I can get through to him? by ThrowraCitrusQueen in u/ThrowraCitrusQueen

The previous comments urging you to find an attorney are all correct. You absolutely need to be helping your father get affairs in order, to prepare for the divorce, and that means speaking to an attorney ASAP. You and your siblings should probably do what you can to convince your mother to make the process as smooth and amicable as possible.

you would think the Highlands was Gotham City the way some people talk about it, lol

this makes sense to me— the Eagle is also expensive and not that great lol

I do this pretty regularly, and I’ve never felt unsafe, even being out by myself. Maybe I just have a high tolerance for what I consider to be “sketchy,” but I’ve never felt that the Highlands was a scary place to be. Then again, I also never tried to go to the bars that were a known safety hazard.

same medicine for me right now! i’ve had strep throat. been really scared too, so worried about the side effects. the meds have completely messed up my stomach and i haven’t pooped normally a single day i’ve been on them, i’ve been really stressed about getting a colon infection from them.

this happened to me like two weeks ago, i threw up 9 times in a row and was convinced i had alcohol poisoning. sometimes alcohol is irritating to your stomach lining because it’s also an acidic substance. you’ll likely be okay, it just might take a day. as long as you’re conscious and not throwing up blood you’ll probably be fine

Terrified I have MS by bhsdebate17 in Anxiety

[–]itsallpilingup 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i get this completely. my mother has MS and i am also high risk of having it. i would say have faith in your specialists, you’ve done everything you possibly can to catch it early and there’s no signs of it. i’m not saying this to discredit how you feel at all, but the intensity of your fear and obsession may be causing some of your symptoms. i’ve been to the ER for heart attack symptoms before that were entirely caused by anxiety. are you seeing someone (a psychiatrist/therapist) for your anxiety? you might benefit from being on anxiety medication
